It's very possible that vaping irritates the lungs of some former smokers. It may be a reaction to one of the eliquid ingredients, or it may be the 20 years of smoking that came before vaping. It may also be a side effect of quitting smoking; maybe the lungs are clearing themselves out. It...
I'm not sure if frequent charging shortens the life of the battery but I'd guess not.
If you're at the computer a lot, I'd strongly suggest that you buy a Pass-thru so you can use that instead of your batteries.
The Greensmoke is definitely NOT the top vapor producer! For more vapor, the ratio of PG to VG should be 80/20 or 70/30. I think some people even do 50/50 but I don't know how well that works.
I was a heavy smoker for over 37 years (30 per day avg) and I quit smoking immediately after my first vape. I never thought it would be so effective. As for cost, it's far less expensive than smoking even when you splurge on new gizmos every once in a while. It's a total win-win.
I upgraded after a year to an IGO because I wanted a longer battery life. I love the IGO with my V4L cartomizers but I really dislike the cartomizers that came with it, so I don't use them.
Note that the XL manual batteries from Vapor4Life do produce a very warm vape that really simulates...
The batteries come in various sizes, yes. I can tell you that I quit using the KR808D-1, which is the model you see referred to as the 808. I was a heavy smoker of 37+ years and quit immediately with mine, which I got from Vapor4Life. There is a newer version on the market called the Bloog...
I have the IGo and I love it with my V4L Wow cartos - but I hate the cartos that come with it because I can't get them to work well; they leak badly and I can't get a decent pull without losing a lung in the process. Is there a bigger cartomizer out there that works with the IGo? Something...
I haven't tried one because I'm too afraid that I'd like it, but the longer I vape instead of smoke, the less tempted I am by the whole idea. I was at CVS yesterday and someone came up behind me as I was paying. I smelled her before I knew she was there - she was clearly a smoker and she...
I love my V4L XL (380mah) batteries - manual. I've never tried the Volt or Bloog but I understand that they're also quite good. The thing I like about the V4L batteries is that the vapor is warm and tasty. I'd recommend the Wow cartomizers, especially WowCoffee.
You ordered a good nic level; 24mg is good for a heavy (former) smoker. That's what I use and I go through about 60ml a month. I don't know much about the ecig you ordered but good luck!
The Volt, VaporKing from V4L and the Bloog Maxx Fusion are all versions of the KR808D-1 and they are all recommended. I use the one from V4L but I think that the other two have a new type of technology.
They're all good.
Were you a very heavy smoker? As you know, 48mg is much higher than the norm. There must be a reason why you're craving such a high nic level. Maybe you need a stronger e-cig. Alternately, what about supplementing with snus?
I wouldn't have any qualms about ordering a bulk supply of hardware or juice from China if the dealer had a good reputation here on ECF, as a couple clearly do. The problem I have is that I don't like the Dekang because it has an odd aftertaste. I wish I liked it because it's far cheaper than...
One of the good 808's: V4L's Vapor King (manual), Volt or Bloog. I can only recommend V4L because I haven't tried the others, but they certainly get good reviews on this forum so they must be winners.
I think that this problem may solve itself once vapers become more numerous. Eventually there will be a smart business person who will see a niche - a vaping coffee shop, maybe - and rush to fill it. Assuming it's a successful venture, other smart business people will follow suit. It's all...
Tanks and mods use more juice - and everyone's different in terms of liquid consumption. I have a KR808D-1 and I'd say that I use less than 2 mls per day. In my case, the estimate from the guy in the shop was right.
Do any of the new large Boge-type cartomizers work with the IGo? Maybe that's my best alternative. I don't like the IGo cartomizers at all. The first one I used worked great - but it was downhill from there. I don't think the battery is the problem because it definitely works, but the cartos...
