    The Vamo does the same thing, keeps firing for half a second after button release, and makes a stuttering sound rather than a hissing sound when firing a carto. It's not an issue for me, I got used to it pretty quick. The menu looks to be like a ProVari set up? Not sure I'm overly keen on that...

    Like the look of the lava fire, wonder if it comes in stainless steel? Would also be interesting to know if that top cap is threaded, looks like a good device for the kick if the top cap comes off. Nice to see a device like this with a flat top cap too.

    The ProVari spring is definitely not suitable as a replacement for the version 2 Vamo spring. I've stretched it out and made it work, but there's some battery rattle. There's got to be much better options available. The vamo spring is on the left, the ProVari on the right:

    The chrome switches are solid, never had a problem with mine, the stainless switches are junk. A chrome switch on the stainless telescope is a great set up, gives you access to the kick with a threaded top cap.

    Everything about the stainless version is better than the chrome version except for the switch. I've swapped my switch out with one from a chrome telescope, works perfect now. I think you can order the chrome switches with the spring, not sure where though. Edit: Here it is...
