NO !!!! Don't waste your money on that automatic thing. use a plain old cat plastic dish pan , and clumping litter and just a sifting scoop . the clumps are easy to pick out and put into used plastic grocery bags, tie off and throw. simple and cheap.

Me too and yes, I already knew that about you and several others on here also. This whole ptsd thing- panic and other phobia crap, is NOT our fault. 4 years of intense therapy taught me that --and also helped me to cope as best as possible.. What really helps is knowing one is not alone ...

Willie, dogs will eat anything and everything no matter how much--but cats/ birds are not like that. They will eat only as much as they need, but do eat more often. Cat boxes need to be changed every day or so. Use the "clumping mixes" for their box ,makes it easier and less expensive.

panic attacks- glad to see people come out about them- so many don't understand what and how bad they can be. In my case it is only one of the many stupid phobias that come from long term ptsd. ( used to be referred to as post traumatic syndrome) Not just vets get this. can come from...

living out in the country so long, means I have ended up with as many as 15 "dumped " cats and 6 dogs at one time . why people are so heartless as to just drive out in the country and dump animals is beyond me. And trying to scrape up enough money to vet them and feed them properly, can be...

and thank you, Willie, for having Bela spayed. I have always spayed all my cats and dogs, male and female. All have been origonally strays and it is so unfair for them to have just been dumped out to die.
