    New gold ProVari, Missing something....

So far My black satin has held up wonderfully. It goes with me to work every day (I commute 90 miles a day) rattles around in the hand grip well on the car door, (thats where I stash it while driving) Have yet to find one chip, scratch or glossy wear mark on it.. Granted, I've only had it...

    High pitched buzz

Well, Finally got off my ...., and tested it.. I agree, its not PWM, but its not smooth DC either.. There is a wave to the signal... This is with my provari turned up to 4.5V.. Weird..

    High pitched buzz

The V1s will do it too, usually at the higher voltages.. It seems like mine have quieted down after months of use.. Hmm.. Regardless.. Yeah, its completely normal. Cheers!

    High pitched buzz

The high pitched whine is normal.. Its from the power regulating circuitry.. AFAIK, the ProVaris use PWM (Pulse width modulation) to regulate the power going to the atty, and all you're hearing is the power switching on and off (thousands of times a second) Its normal, all of my provaris do...

DING DING DING!! We have a winner!! Yeah, I thought so too.. Last I checked, you couldn't even buy a separate extension cap in gold.. They only came with the mod.. Oh well, I'll send off an email to provape, I'm sure they'll make it right :)

    New gold ProVari, Missing something....

Woot.. I just got it in today, and only have a minute to take a crappy photo, better pics will be coming soon, but I had 1 question.. Theres something missing from the gold provari that the other two have (Heres a hint: Its not the dripshields, attys, or drip-tips) that I thought came...

    Juice

Its been my (limited) experience that juices over a year old loose some flavor at best, and turn sour at worst. As a general rule, I don't keep juices, or mixing components for juices (nicotine, PG, VG, Etc..) over a year.. Dry goods are different (Menthol crystals, Ethyl Malitol crystals...

    Extended Cap

Heh.. I have a regular cap or two sitting around.. I purchased a custom regular cap (Spider design) with one provari, and the extended cap with another. Heya ProVape: I dont know how many of those "custom" standard caps you sell, so it may not be worth your wile, but I'd like to get an extended...

    black satan finish

The coating on the ProVari, whatever it is, does indeed seem to be holding up nicely for me as well.. The Black Chrome I have was showing minute scratches and wear within a few days.. This V2, however seems so far, impervious. Regardless, I'm not hugely concerned about the showing of wear marks...

    Potential Explosions & a Provari?

unbalanced multi-cell stacks, with bad, or no protection circuitry are where the problems come in (that, and drawing at too high a C rate on un-protected batteries) The high C-rate issue goes away with the amperage cut-off of the provari, and the multi-cell stack issue goes away, well.. because...

I would avoid using the 1.25 ohm DC on 4.2V, thats a lot of power for such a low resistance carto.. (Over 14 watts!) IMO, that will result in burnt carto at best, and dead carto at worst. I would keep the 1.25 ohm DC carto to 3.7 volts, or lower for best experience. And yes, a 1.25 ohm carto...
