Oh, and apples to apples, I used the same atty on each unit for the voltage tests, and both units were fitted with freshly charged 18490s pulled right off my PILA charger. Yup.. Steeping!!
Steeping seems to be subjective, but the most oft quoted time frame I see is 1-2 weeks. Some people say a few days is fine, others say it requires a full week or two. My suggestion would be to try it! Give the juice a go and see how you like it, then bottle it up for a week (room temp will be...- mendnwngs

Voltage "Under Load"
"Under load" refers to taking a voltage measurement while the battery is firing an atty. In this case, the Atty is the load on the battery. Testing a battery voltage while its sitting out in the open is one thing, but when an atty is pulling current from the batt, the voltage tends to drop...- mendnwngs

Standard ego-t atomizer resistance
Heh, i had to dig up my Ego-T atties. According to my meter, it looks like they're right at 2.3-2.4Ohms. That should be fine at 5V 10.87Watts at 2.3 ohms, and 10.41Watts at 2.4 ohms. It will be on the hot side, I'd guess, and you'd want to start off with short puffs until you get the feel for...- mendnwngs

I have calibrated meters at work.. If I can, I'll throw my provari (soon to have a second one in my grasp!!) on there, and see just how close it really is.. FWIW, I'd bet they're well within a small tolerance (say 5% or so) -

Hmmm.. I grabbed my tester 510-510 adapter. My Provari shows the battery charge (under load) at 3.6V, but the multimeter (at the same time) shows 3.27V Conversely, The meter shows the Provari putting out voltage within 0.06V of measured.. So set at 4.8V, and I measure 4.86V under load I... -

If there were bi-state LEDs in the Provari (Selectable Red / green) then in the firmware, you could select red, green or both (yellow/orange kinda color) Blue LEDs can take up to 5-10X the current of a red or green LED, as the nature of whats in a blue LED just needs more 'oomph' to work. Wow.. FWIW, Just got a few "Canon" HV atties from Iken.. (3.5ohm) These things pretty seriously rock at5-5.4V on the Provari.. I'm loving vaping like new again. -

I've just been diagnosed with a ulcer.. I guess a fairly large one.. I know cigarettes are to be avoided for ulcers, but what about vaping? How about Snus? I just spent 7+ hours in the ER after vomiting ~1/3 of my total blood weight, so the doc said. So I guess its bad.. There were some...- mendnwngs

All of Bens (AVE) juices can be thinned a lot with little sacrifice in flavor, IMO.. Just use the lightest polar solvent thats okay for consumption (PGA) Literally a drop per mL of juice can thin it out a *lot* and you're talking less than a couple % total dilution.- mendnwngs
