    Look through the mod threads for the Evercool by Bigblue great directions easy to build works great it is the only mod I use. and you can get the regulator from Texas Instruments for free just order the sample. the rest of the stuff and where you can get it is listed in the post.

    I have read that other people had this problem with the earlier versions but not so much with the latest. Sounds like you are running them dry. Mine taste like crap if I let them get dry. I have also found that they work best on my VV at 4.5 to 5 volts. The ones I have are 2.5 ohms.
