    Vaping at the movies?

Like I said, I tend to blow large vapor clouds, so I only vape before the coming attractions. Once the trailers start, I avoid vaping until after the movie is finished (even if the theater isn't that crowded). It's just not very respectful to vape big clouds during a film. It's already...

    Vaping at the movies?

I went to the movies tonight, and I only vaped for about 5 minutes after I entered the theater (before any coming attractions starting playing). I'm not exactly big on "stealth vaping" so blowing large clouds of smoke would be very distracting and somewhat disrespectful. Instead, I just waited...

Erie (NY) County Health commissioner claims e-cigarettes are very attractive to children

Nobody wants to talk about the giant elephant in the room: e-cigs may help teenage (and preteenage) smokers quit smoking or not even start in the first place.

Erie (NY) County Health commissioner claims e-cigarettes are very attractive to children

Personally, I don't mind if someone under 18 vapes. Some teenagers, who starting smoking analogs in elementary school, claim to have quit because of their early introduction to e-cigs. I heard of a 17-year-old in Spokane County, Washington who had this experience (he started smoking analogs at...

ANR lies about e-cigarettes to try confusing and scaring public, calls for banning e-cigarette use indoors

Hypocrites! First they claim that there has not been an adequate study about the "secondhand vapor" of e-cigarettes, and then they claim that the vapor is toxic and full of carcinogens IN THE SAME ARTICLE.

ANR lies about e-cigarettes to try confusing and scaring public, calls for banning e-cigarette use indoors

The FDA and CDC predict that by 2020, smoking will be banned in every restaurant, bar, and non-hospitality workplace in America. I fear that the same will come of e-cigs if we don't stand up now.

Health insurance increase for tobacco users/ecig users

Are you obligated to enroll in their insurance plan or can you choose your own? I seriously doubt that any non-governmental insurance have increased rates on e-cig users. When I go to the doctor, he asks if I smoke NOT if I vape.

We need some good resources to look for legislation. I've been using Google News, but even that is limited. Perhaps the media isn't reporting the whole story?

New Store featured in Ft Worth Star-Telegram article

Didn't Fort Worth repeal their indoor smoking ban? I wonder how many smokers there will be incentivized to quit now. For this reason, you ought to give them your business every now and then.

Survey finds 82% of US convenience stores now sell e-cigarettes, 50% now carry at least two brands, 26% now carry at least three brands

I went to a smoke shop back in May, and they told me that they would have e-cigarettes in the next couple months. I went there last week, and they still didn't have them. The girl there told me that the girl who told me this was lying. If I want to buy disposable e-cigarettes, I have to go to...

My doctors reaction to my PV at my checkup today :)

I find it very odd that during every news report on vaping they always find a doctor that disapproves of vaping, yet everyone's doctor here is greatly in favor of it. Very suspicious.

Vapers' Own Legislation and „Common Sense“

Basically, you should vape anywhere you would feel comfortable using a cell phone. Vaping serves as a distraction. Nothing else. If someone's blowing a large cloud of vapor, the worst that could happen is that another person gets annoyed. If someone's engaging in a conversation with me and they...

Vapers' Own Legislation and „Common Sense“

As far as a Code of Conduct for Vapers if you will, it would be very difficult. There are three issues on which vapers disagree (with number 1 causing the most disagreement): 1)In what public places should vapers vape (Should they only vape in designated outdoor smoking areas? Should they only...

Just now saw my 1st ever e-cig TV ad! Do you see amny e-cig ads?

Has anyone else noticed, having seen this commercial several times myself, that the actor spoke in short phrases and only made references to where he could vape as opposed to the health benefits of vaping? I'm pretty sure that this allowed Blu to advertise on TV without any negative backlash...

    Oh, the Places You'll Go...

If people are freaking out about someone vaping in the cashier's line at the grocery store, they should think back to as late as the early-1990's when smoking analogs was still permitted in a few supermarkets. The only place where I would NEVER vape is at a gas pump because that for sure would...
