I know it's a little blasphemous to talk about the Vivi Nova on the SI forum, but here are some preliminary observations on how it might compare to the T3's. (I just started using the Novas, both mini and full size)
1) The T3 doesn't use wicks. This is a huge plus for me. Even with shorter...

My best vaping story:
As some of you may have read, I found out that my university's smoke-free campus policy allows e-cigs. I feel very silly using a 1300mAh X2 with a 3ml tank, but after several hours of stressful classes, I need the nicotine fix more than I need to look normal...

On our road trip to Oregon, we stayed in a hotel. Our room was non-smoking, but I asked at the front desk if vaping was okay and they said "yes." Hurray!

I'm usually not a big fan of being outside, no matter what the weather is like, but my sister convinced me go swimming with her during our road trip to Oregon. Vaping around the pool is great! Just don't let those batteries get wet. :2cool:

My dad and I went out searching for fossils about a month ago near the border between Idaho and Oregon (does that count as a "vacation?"). I felt so "fancy" sitting there breaking up rocks with a 78mm auto hanging out of my mouth.
You sound like my psychiatrist. She asked me the same question when I told her I'd started smoking again (about 8 months ago). The best answer I could give was this: I missed the joy of satisfying a craving. It's kind of like eating when you're reallyhungry. When you go several hours or...
Vanilla Mint from Vapedudes. It's pretty much all I use, besides the occasional puff or two on one of my other flavors just to wake up my taste buds.
I'm on my second "juice quest" though. I'm tired of all the sweet flavors I used to love and am looking for something bolder, like tobacco or...
I should have had more faith in the new CE3's coming out. I just ordered more of the current ones and some mini Vivi Novas figuring the updated versions couldn't be much better, but those pics look amazing. Ah well, it's great to see these products continue to evolve. The future...
Just to give an update about the email I sent to my university asking about e-cigs - here's the response I got:
"Currently, electronic cigarettes are not included in the Smoke Free Campus policy. Congratulations on your success in quitting smoking and improving your health!"
My 900mAh X2 died last night. A clearo leaked more juice than normal onto it, which got down around the center post, and when I tried to clean it out with a toothpick wrapped in a paper towel, the center post came out. I'm chalking it all up to user error and it was so close to the end of the...
Although I'm not a huge fan of variable voltage myself, I still recommend getting the Twist. Even if you end up using it around the same voltage as non-VV devices (like I do), you're still getting a great product and room to experiment.
Drinking water can help as Buggs suggested. Even after several months of vaping, I'll still have days where the vapor suddenly tastes bad or has very little flavor. Increasing my water intake can really make a difference when that happens.
You can adjust the post when it's filled. I keep a thumbtack in my carrying case for doing it whenever necessary. It's not hard, just do it carefully a little at a time until it fires correctly. The majority of my CE3's required a little adjusting.
It's difficult to say. I've had ones where I may have filled it improperly or it otherwise lost the vacuum inside to keep it from leaking. On the next fill, it'll work fine. I haven't watched MrOutlaw's video so I'm not sure if he mentioned it, but it seems to help if you "suck out" some air...
One trick I learned for filling:
Getting the syringe through the drip tip of the juice bottles never worked for me and having to remove and reapply the drip cap from the bottle of juice every time I needed to fill the syringe was kind of frustrating. I ended up forcing the needle through the...
I realize that Cracked isn't exactly a scientific journal, but it has a large fan-base and one of today's topics talked about the benefits of nicotine.
