Can you drip with Joye 510 no box?
I'm pretty sure a great many had already worked out the "remove empty cartridge" technique of dripping before drip tips hit the market. At any rate, Cignot now sells drip tips-- Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.- PaulB

510 atties
I have, Martha. I was so used to really long-lived (months) standard Joye 510s, and these Eastmall LRs are dying left and right. Not sure if it's a "ya get what ya pay for" thing, or a LR thing as these are the first LRs and the first non-Joyes I've bought. I do like that warm vapor, though. -

Welcome Lisa, from a 40+ year smoker. As to the outage thing, I dedicated one of my 510 wall chargers to my vehicle by way of a lighter-socket-to-mini-plug adapter. It's always plugged in and always has a 510 battery in it. Always.- PaulB

What to buy to avoid nasty burnt taste in 510's
I'd recommend getting off the cart merry-go-round, and give dripping (ideally with a drip tip) a good try. Even there, possibilities of burnt taste remain: caked juice residue in the bridge wicking material, etc.--which is why some drippers remove that wicking, and some take out the entire...- PaulB
