    It's not on a share - on a physical drive. My apps/games RAID0 drives actually. After setting everything into ramdisk am still seeing 10 second checkpoints. Odd~

    I use the older v7 client, I don't like the newer one... lol but yeah work is in x:\users\loft\appdata\roaming\FAHClient hidden by default... think I'll manually move it to the ramdisk and then change the 'Start In' location for the shortcut I made.

    That would do the main application for F@H but work units, etc would still be in the roaming directory, no? Or do we move that as well?

    lol... yeah my OC is maximized on my 670. Custom bios (to enable 125% power limit from 114%), ram @ 1800mhz, core @ 1250mhz. It's an MSI Power Edition 670 *shrugs* What did you use to setup the ram drive? As is the checkpoint downtime is literally 10 - 11 seconds so maybe it's not that bad...

    Yeah but I'm only using 2 cores on the i5 (left others for GPU utilization) and it would only net 7k PPD estimated by FAH software. And the GPU slot keeps jumping up and down from 135k to 70k... not sure why. When this happens GPU utilization goes from 97-99% to 0% for a couple seconds. Looks...

    tjmax -- is a dummy plug still needed for dual slot folding in a single machine on gpu's? Also... what are the optimizations for gpu folding now? Since my 4p rig is potentially sold - I'd want to pick up on gpu folding (no point in cpu on i5) at least for a little bit until my finances are more...

    That's just it... my 4P/G34 folder is just a folding rig. I was contemplating doing something else with it but I have no need to use it for anything else. I have a separate NAS with 3TB of storage, so... lol.

    Yeah, there were a couple that wanted it but were not local. The guy that's looking at it is actually a proxy for someone in NC who is going to handle shipping. It's just a PITA for me; and the system doesn't generate as much work as I would prefer - plus needing the cash to help chop down...

    Looks like I tossed my old cooler for the i7... lol And I'll be powering down the big rig while I'm gone. While I don't suspect anything will happen, I don't want to take the risk seeing as my AC will be off the entire time. :(
