You can reboot or manually start it; but you'll have to reload the FAH client so it reloads the config. If you don't reload the config it won't load the settings for the proxy which will basically make the langouste install pointless.
No point in reserving a post when we can only edit for a day or two... unless you plan on editing asap~ :p
Good info on the build. It only goes to show that Windows and GUI clients are not always performance driven. I'd hate to see the diminishing returns on my big rig if it were using...
It's for my desktop, not my big rig. I want to remove the existing cages and add fans since my cooling right now is a little meh. Idling at 30c which isn't bad, load at 60c.

Specifically... 30 machines. All of them i5, running I believe 3ghz. So around 12k PPD each...
Basically a queue manager. When you finish a WU it will move it to a separate directory, clone your installation of FAH, and upload - allowing the real installation of FAH to download a new WU right away and keep working. If you don't use Langouste then you will only be able to start a new WU...
And if your HFM/config is correct, you're going to average around the same PPD as my big rig. Makes sense, 16 threads @ 4ghz (right?) vs 32 cores at 2.35ghz... but at least my electrical bill will be less and my house cooler. lol... :p :p :p :p
