    I think that would be a good idea. I don't have patience, so that's an issue for me...but it seems to make sense that if you leave it sit the juice should wick over time.

    Same object as the smaller carts, get the filler wet. I have a whole bunch of these, both clear and metal, and have a love hate thing going. What I have learned from filling clear ones is that you can drop fill it from the top, let it wick a little down into the filler, then add more, etc...

    It's not about proving anything really. They are offering to fix the problem at hand, and merely asking for the faulty product to be returned. This is probably one of the most commonly acts done. If you received a faulty PV, you wouldn't expect to get a new one sent and get to keep the faulty...

    If they're replacing the item for you they have a right to have the product back. Not that you would, but what's to stop you from removing the hair, vape away, and enjoy your two bottles if they just send you another. I highly doubt they want it back just to sell it again.

    I have never laid eyes on the 808 stars (mine are all 510), but I use THIS on my egos for some of the 808 carts I still have, so I would imagine that it would work for you.

    There isn't any problem with removing the condom w/ the cone. I personally do so to help get the water, or vodka into the coil area to help with the cleaning. You'll find varying opinions on how much cleaning is necessary, from a simple rinse and dry burn to complete dissassembly of the unit...

    70/30 here, Vision Stardust primarily for the wife, Boge 2.0 singles primarily for me....both on Egos. No issues. I also use the EMDCC without issue as well.

    Man I feel your frustration. Won't say what's been said a million times before, but just in case you weren't aware you can get an 808 to 510 adapter to use those carts on your ego....that's what I'm doing to use up my 808 carts.

    Issue with stardust and ego batteries.

    Had this happen yesterday, but it just wouldn't work on my Ego T batts....Cs were fine. I hooked the post and pulled it down a little, then let the battery push it back up if it needed to to thread down all the way. Worked after that. Any chance you haven't pulled the pin down enough?

    Welcome and way to go on the transition. I never looked back myself...don't even want the things anymore. I also enjoy mixing flavors. Don't know if I'll ever DIY, but it's cool to trying different mixtures with pre-mixed. :toast:

    Do you label you're Cartomizers?

    I'm mixing colored drip tips and labeling for my tracking. I hate label makers but was lucky enough to run across this.... Link Push the power button, and it pops up on my computer screen for quick label making.
