    I suggest putting one finger on the bottom contact pin of the head and the top of the coil head and wiggling the wire up and down or in circles until it breaks off in the future rather than clipping it. It will break off so there is no wire coming out of the head and you won't get any more...

    It should look like this: then when its time to clean just take out the cotton wick, dry burn the coils until they are red, let them cool down, rewick, prime, wait a minute, vape again! P.s. that is a rebuilt coil I have in there so yours will probably have the coils more spaced out.
