Welcome epe! I quit analogs and Then let my Dr. know about it and she was all for it. Even had me demo it in her office. I hope she mentions them to any patients who are thinking about dumping the analogs.
Leviathan, I can't argue with your choice; KGO's are a great starter set. I started with an eGO set from a mall kiosks (yes I did overpay, but could have been worse as far as quality goes) After vaping and reading for a few weeks the KGO is the one kit that I regretted not getting, those...
It may still happen for you OP. I didn't start my productive coughing until a few days ago, basically 3 weeks in. My total quit date was 2 weeks ago, but I really wasn't smoking more than 2 a day that last week.
Thanks for the heads up Iffy. I searched the site and found a photographic tutorial about the adapters and which ones are which. Looks like I will be placing 2 orders if Apollo doesn't carry what I need.
Great, an adaptor is all I need; however, does it really come with the SS? Or is the SS actually built differently? I guess those are questions for their customer service. So has anyone ordered the SS specifically?
It looks like a stainless steel Vtube is in my near future. I am coming from using an EGo and have amassed a nice little collections of tanks, clearomizers, etc. On this page of Apollo it mentions that the SS and Chrome come with an adaptor already. ego adapter for lavatube
Is that all I need...
Welcome into the community from lurking. I browse the sub often and Im sure you can see that this place is thriving. Not much to my story, I quit analogs a couple of weeks ago, using an eGO and looking at a vtube to be ordered first of July. I prefer Banana flavors and am vaping the heck out of...
I also have had that problem with it leaking and pooling at bottom, I clean it up with a tissue or q tip as well. Just a quirk with them. Doesn't hurt to re seat the cap either.
Welcome to the community and may I be the first to say that I am jealous of your SS Vtube! That is top on my shopping list for next month and I can't wait!
Congrats on going tobacco free, to your wife too. That was really nice of someone to donate a care package to you; helps to remember how great this community can be. Look forward to any of your contributions to the community.
Welcome! Smoker of 19 years here, once I started vaping it was a matter of a week of stepping down the number of analogs smoked a day and then BAM! tobacco free. Once again, welcome to the forums, you will find so much information here!
I always keep a cool bottled water next to me when vaping at home. I find that it even helps to have a drink when the flavors start fading in my mouth.
Congrats on choosing to quit! I asked the question about the batteries before and was told its actually not a bad idea to charge them when they half empty, etc. It will NOT shorten the life of the battery.
It's a we'll known fact that we all accept; it just isn't going to hit you like an analog would. The particulates in smoke are much smaller; the smoke travels much deeper into your lungs, vapor will never get that deep into your lungs. Tobacco companies have refined their craft over many years...
