    Why do we refer to all tanks as "DCT"?

    Why do we call tissue paper Kleenex? Cotton tipped swabs Q-Tips. Seems the first real mass produced tanks were the dual coil ones. So here again it's an individual company's product becoming the name for the entirety of the products like it.

    When we smoked, it really came down to having only 2 flavors available to us. Menthol and non-menthol. Yes, there are subtle variations between manufacturers in some taste of cigarettes, but at the core, it's those two flavors. Vaping is freedom to try all the different flavors.

    Okay this has really caught my eye ... something to look at after Thanksgiving is over for sure. Oh heh, and don't forget "Pyrex" is just a trademark name for borosilicate glass. But borosilicate glass does have silica in it ... concerns there for the anti silica crowd?

    Heh. Naw I don't goto extremes. I just like what I can do with what I have. In the end, as long as I have a tree up, I'm happy. And I'm a basic guy there. White lights on the tree work best for me.

    It's been ages since I've used cheesecloth ... need to try it again. I am currently using rolled cotton. I've used cheesecloth, yarn, and now rolled ... all are great.

    When I first got my Z I noticed the edges did seem sharp, but thus far haven't hurt myself. There of course is one vendor that has those grooves actually cut into vent holes, and that does look like it could cut ... and probably get battery out gassing all over your hands if a runaway happened...

    Seems all the various DIDAlike and AGA threads discuss sanding or filing down the bottom to make it fit. I might fiddle with that when I get up to my parents house in GA for Thanksgiving since I will have access to more tools.
