    shake the tank a few times while vaping. you might be tasting the concentrated flavoring or VG which weren't mixed and floating. Also, coil gets caramelized while burning juice. that could also contribute to that sweet taste which can turn into burn taste fairly quickly. :)

    Exploding batteries on sub-ohm builds

    Lots of great post here. One thing I would add is, if you want to use mech mod, you can always use safety fuse or kick for added protection. These will cut the power if the battery is pushed too hard. These aren't absolute solution but will provide added safety of VV on your mech mod.

    Micro coil isn't for cloud chasing. I use it all the time @ 0.8 - 1 ohms. As I stated before, biggest benefit I see from micro coil is the swapping of cotton wick without recoiling. A single micro coil can last weeks even with daily change of cotton wick. I rather do this than dry burn...
