When installing new atomizer head,
1) let it sit for few minutes to get the wick wet
2) start low voltage (3 - 3.2v) and pulse it few time while puffing
3) once you get a good vapor going, raise the voltage to 3.4-3.6v. pulse it again while puffing.
4) start gaping normally and raise the voltage...
US made products go through revisions and design changes too. ZNA gone through few changes already. I don't see this being a problem. In fact, I would be skeptical if someone produced a "perfect" device during their initial launch.
For me, how the companies handle these updates that sets them...
1.8 ohms single coil with small wick setup. works perfect for juice tasting.
don't need to use slim topper. go with full size RDA like IGO-L for larger desk.
Bigger size RDA doesn't mean bigger battery. :p
clearomizers are easiest to use. you get a burn taste, change the head in 5sec. no mess and simple installation. if this is a hassle, all other options will just be more hassle.
saving money on these replacement head is a different story. you can get many more usage of burned atomizer head...
cartomizers have a clear air path in the middle. juice need to go to the side where the fillers are. the fillers "hold" the juice and slowly release them to the coil for burning. if you drop the juice in the middle, it will go straight down the air way and leak out of the bottom connector...
If you need a simple set up to try out vaping, eGo style kit will be a good starter. Just add juice.
Kanger eVod Kit - Stainless
If you are trying to quit cig and planning on vaping for long time, you will need to put together something little more robust.
Basically, you need "mod" (battery...
$15 IGO-L will give you awesome vapor and wide open deck to build coil. First step into rebuildables shouldn't about picking out the setup. It is all about learning about battery and building coils/wicks. Very easy to do on RDA and if you make mistake, you don't have a tank full of juice to...
I get harsh th when the voltage is too low. usually this happens to high ohms atomizers. when i crank the voltage up, i get smoother vapor. seems like mismatch of voltage/resistance is causing more dense nic juice to evaporate and create the harsh th. when i vape at higher voltage, increased...
Apparently the first batch of VTR with rotating wheel has contact issue. This causes resistance reading to fluctuate and throw the wattage off. Innokin changed the design almost immediately to fixed wheel but they aren't exchanging the faulty initial batch. Now I am stuck with $110 APV that...
Isn't it great when you can actually get your stuff repaired? My VTR has the "contact wheel" issue and resistance reading is all over the place. I asked around (including the store who I bought it from) and all I got was "umm.." and blank stare. Now I can only use VV.
Again the question...
For me, ProVari is... ordinary. It is definitely not flashy. Design is actually quite subdued in today's standard. In fact, the design hasn't changed at all. Heck, it doesn't even have VW which seems to be so common these days. It does feel good in my hand, but it isn't that different from...
Some of biggest vapor production I got (excluding RDA) was from carto. I initially hated the idea of carto (filling and tube sliding etc) and loved the simpleness of clearo tank. However, once I got used to the carto tank, its consistency and flexibility blew me away. Juice flow control with...
I would actually recommend going straight to IBtanked. here is my logic.
If you end up liking cartomizer, you would want to upgrade the tank and IBtanked is a good choice.
If you end up not liking cartomizer and wanting to try Killer, you can still use IBtanked (22mm) and just get killer tube...
Carto will give you much better vapor. Once you get used to cartomizer tank, it is virtually maintenance free. Bottom coil design clearomizer can be a pain sometime. But I found clearomizer to have better flavor. Clearomizer and cartomizer are definitely different and worth trying them out...
Something doesn't sound right. Usually you would float the topper(tank) if you are having airflow issue. Can you clarify the "flashing button" issue? When you press the button, it suppose to light up to indicate you are powering the atty. Are you getting enough air through?
Going from clearo to Killer?? While Killer is awesome, I wouldn't recommend that as first build. Space is tight and you will need to join resistance/no resistance wire. if you want to explore into rebuilding, try a simple RDA like IGO-L. Lots of space to build and can be very simple. Not to...
First of all, make sure the atomizer head is screwed into the base properly. Not too tight but snug enough.
If you are using beauty ring, try taking that off and see if that makes better contact.
Bottom of atomizer head has a groove on it. using a screw driver, turn it counter-clock...
