Need my first mech mod, help? :(
Helio is a great RDA. Try building single coil on it. 30g tight micro should heat up pretty fast even at 1.2oms. Mech mod isn't anything special and don't expect different experience from it. Helio with a good coil setup should give you awesome vape even on MVP. Save your money and go...- ZeroOhms

Heating up juice before you have a toke?
priming doesn't hurt the battery. (neither VV/VW or mech) if you run your dripper wet with tons of cotton, priming will help with flavor. same goes for high resistance coils. rda chamber size matters too. new rda with reduced chamber gives strong vape without the need of priming.- ZeroOhms

sounds likes wicking issue. use less cotton. also, try bumping up the resistance little higher and see if that helps. (should stay away from 0.2ohms anyway) if nothing seems to work, start over with dual coil. see if you can make that working.- ZeroOhms

Few things. Careful with dual coil if you can't build consistent coil. if the resistance isn't same on both side, you will run one side hotter. If you run below 0.8, atty and mod will get hot. Nice! I used to do similar thing on RDAs. Leave a gap on the micro coil to make a cotton drop in the middle as well as the tails. However, once I changed to overlapping cotton, I didn't need the gap. Basically take the tails and wrap over the coil and drop them to the opposite side. Exactly... -
