Yes, freebase thing is a rhetoric meant to sensationalize. The quantity of Ammonia added by cigarette manufacturers(Only a few) is so small it doesn't effect the character of nicotine one bit.
Going back to old equipment (vape pen) which didn't give problems could be a possible solution.Bigger equipment with high heat could cause problems for some.
Actually tobacco (cigarette) doesn't have ANY free base nicotine whatsoever.Micro quantities of ammonia added (By marlboro mostly) helps to make nicotine availability bit easy.
Ecig nicotine is almost entirely free base nicotine.Eliquid nicotine has more availability compared to JUUL eliquid.
Pg is no longer used in nebulizers. The carrier is mostly saline water.
That lung trnsplant study by the manufacturer didn't study effect of PG on lung tissue. The manufacturer is concerned only with rejection aspect.
The medium in question is not eliquid. My knowledge in protocals in biological testing is limited . I think the culture medium (or whatever it is called) is infused with E-liqiud up to 0.3%. It means the medium was dosed with a total of max 0.3% eliquid.
Somebody who knows these protocols can...
If I have to make a wild guess, I would say you (any one who is inhaling PG on a regular basis, I mean) will be more susceptible to acquire lung infection once you go PG(Or vape) free for a couple of days.Since PG, while it is present in the lungs, kills of any living organism your chances of...
I will try to answer it.PG and Vg are humectants. That means they absorb moisture and keep it with them. When you apply on skin they absorb moisture both from AIR (If it has certain humidity) AND from your skin. If you apply concentrated VG(Or say 100% vg) to your skin it will initially dry your...
Diluted glycerin serves as source for bacterial growth. E-liquid as such in a bottle doesn't promote bacteria but diluted glycerin(By water condensation) as written in the above post promotes bacterial growth.
Something is causing stress and/or hormonal disturbance. Of course it can never be related to vaping. Not a chance, Not in this forum .Better equipment causing increasing inhalation could be purely coincidental. Has to be :) .
This thing appears to be a real advancement in ecigs. The salts used by Juul are close to what the tobacco contains. Not requiring to inhale huge amounts of fluids like pg and vg makes it attractive, In my opinion.
If there is a way to refill these things they could be prove to be economical.
