    exploration of new Idea

I am thinking of using a regular kr808d1 carto with reduced size wick(For pyruvic acid) and another filler soaked in 100 mg/ml nic towards the mouthpiece end. Scratch that.Kr808d battery will be too big.One Ml of Pyruvic acid should give about a thousand 35ml puffs to simulate cigarette smoking.

    exploration of new Idea

You can use 100 mg/ml nicbase in place of tobacco. Also the tobacco consumption will be very less compared to smoking. I am not sure , if the citric acid in your commercial juice makes you lactate this pyruvic could do the same. It could be as much fun as smoking a cigarette minus...

    exploration of new Idea

As per my understanding a regular PV(Manual one) can be modified. An absorbent material(PTFE as per the document) loaded with pyruvic acid has to be in touch with heating coil and the pyruvic acid vapor(With Air) passes through a cylindrical mesh (that holds tobacco) creating a cloud of nicotine...

I was going through literature and found a latest publication that simplifies nicotine inhalation.I thought Until the product is available commercially perhaps some Modding enthusiasts can take a shot at it.The latest publication simplified the earlier one(See here) by the use of tobacco...

That is an accurate statement of fact which may help minimize taxation. One Ml of eliquid equivalent to one cigarette.

    Korean government attacks e-cigarettes

I misread the wikipedia article about acsh.As Bill says ACSH didnt retract their opposition to restrict phalates. They softened their stand(As per article written by Kramer). ACSH, it appears is also adamant in their opposition to ban/restrict BPA(Bisphenol).Seems they really look for...

ACSH: "E-Cigarette study is just amateur propaganda"

Actually there are NO clinical trials regarding inhalation of Propylene glycol at higher concentrations because there was never any need for that. I am not very well versed in pharma clinical trials but there is something called third party double blind trials that minimize funders influence...

    Korean government attacks e-cigarettes

Apparently ACSH reversed their stand on phthalates.I was just going through wikipedia on acsh. The article says ACSH had previously defended the safety of phthalates, most recently publishing a critical review in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health.[8] ACSH’s advocacy on the issue...

    The misinformed teaching our youth

That 4000+ chemical additives in cigarette is a myth.Additives in cigarettes are miniscule and there never was 4000 additives to begin with. Little fact check

    The misinformed teaching our youth

The health teacher was right.Eliquid has more quantity of "added chemicals" than cigarettes.Quantity wise it is about 100 times more. Also the ecig vapor has about 100 times more concentration of added chemicals than cigarette smoke.

Evidence Suggests E-Cigs Safer Than Cigarettes, Researcher Claims, first real study now out.

The original article was titled: We review the existing evidence on the safety and efficacy of electronic cigarettes. We then revisit the tobacco harm reduction debate, with a focus on these novel products. We conclude that electronic cigarettes show tremendous promise in the fight against...

“Study finds e-cigarettes affect airways, and quickly”

I do get it to the extent that the report is NOT positive about ecigs. What i don't get is the basis for the acsh scientists atttack on the scientists involved in the study.I find it Bizarre that these scientists are blasting the study based on their assumptions and what they gleaned from...
