Yes but you said it was sad that she couldn't quit smoking for her children. LOTS of people couldn't quit smoking for their children until they found vaping. But fortunately we DID find it so it's a difficult thing to feel judged because we couldn't do it on our own (and that's how I perceived...
This isn't a very nice thing to say. Smoking is a very hard habit to break whether you have kids or not. Besides that, she DID quit smoking with the help of vaping and she does have a right to her own feelings about it whether people agree with them or not.
I'd remind her that we don't sneak around messing with other people's things in our house. We respect each other & talk to each other and ask permission before messing with someone else's stuff. When MY 8 year old daughter told me she thought about trying my vape to see what it was like, I was...
I agree about being able to smoke/vape in the bar. I pretty much only drink at the bar now & that's rarely, so when I do I want to be able to vape with my drink. I'm still sad that there are several places with good food we can't take the kids because they are "bars".
I suffered when the kids...
Interestingly, here in GA (at least in the Atlanta area) you can't bring a child into a bar at all no matter what time....and it's got nothing to do with alcohol and everything to do with smoking. We used to go to this great burger place called the Vortex. Then they made a ruling that minors...
I'm thinking it's more about the temperature of the chamber. It's not the eliquid that makes the coil cooler but rather the amount of airflow you have for the wattage you're using. Tighter airflow lets less air in, therefore you have a hotter chamber.
Are you sure your button isn't sticking...
If it's tasting burnt (assuming it's a fairly new coil & wick) your wicking can't keep up with how fast the eliquid is being vaporized. If it wicks properly at a lower wattage then you may need to build a larger diameter coil so you can have more wicking for the higher wattage.
If I thought my son was thinking about trying it I would explain to him that for ME it was a way to quit smoking & I don't think it's something that people (ie him & his friends) should be doing just for fun, even though I know some people DO do it just for fun.
After that I would make sure...
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. But in case you're not, at home the kids might watch me do something vaping related & their thought process tells them it's not for them so they just stay away from it. But at the vape shop they are more prone to ask questions like, why are there...
This is why I don't stay in the shop long. I agree with you that it would make ME feel uncomfortable to be hanging out in the vape shop socializing with other kids there. Since it would bother me I just assumed it would bother others so I never stay long.
I guess my response to this question probably reflects the reason I don't have a problem bringing my kids to the vape shop with me.
I got my son lessons to learn gun safety for his 11th birthday. We don't own or use a gun but he spends time in homes with guns in them & I wanted him to know...
Perhaps there is no "perfect" set up for everyone. But I bought my REO a couple years ago & have never felt the need to try anything else since. They're really great, and there are quite a few RDAs to choose from for this device these days.
I don't think you should think of it in terms of whether you're right or wrong. You're entitled to your reasoning & it's fair.
HST, I will tell you that I bring my kids to a the vape shop. I don't "hang out" there. I go there to try eliquids before I buy but I don't spend a ton of time there...
You know, you don't HAVE to use a rebuildable atomizer with a REO. The atomizer just needs to have an open bottom so eliquid can go up through the bottom to saturate the coil.
I agree though that I hope people aren't forced into having to make those changes.
....but I still think you should...
You don't need to move to a replaceable battery mod to do any of the things you're interested in.
The main reasons people like to use replaceable battery devices are a) because of longevity (in the case of mechs which have no circuitry to fail) and b) to have many extra batteries on hand and...
