That's ok, it's a lesson learned. I am sure I have many more to learn as well. I will give it another try someday, I am a little burnt out on it for now.
My apologies, I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone. It was late and I was frustrated. Even the smallest amounts taste burnt. I am also new at DIY and asking for help for which there didn't seem to be any. I always mix a stand alone FIRST to get a good percentage to work with. I guess that is...
I do realize taste is subjective but there is no taste other than burnt. If it was anything else I could see it but I can't see this at all. I am still playing with small samples so who knows. I started with 10% in 10 mls and diluted with 20 mls total (PG/VG). Now taking drops of that to see if...
Yea Danny, I knew it would happen sooner or later.
It just surprised me with this one after the posts I read. I will never claim to be an expert (at anything) but whoever that expert is that posted that is delusional! Maybe they only went by smelll and never actually vaped it? It does smell...
LOL Steve!
I think my stubborn side has hit. I hate to be defeated! I decided to get a small 3 ml bottle and almost filled it with PG. I am going to see if just a little of this mix will taste any better if severly diluted. We shall see. I KNOW this will not get better when steeped. The good...
This is the post I was going by...
Well, I've found the BEST Peanut Butter to be from Capella's.
(But I also love the Peanut Butter Banana from DIYJuice - just discovered this one!)
And I am a "Peanut Butter" expert!
Wow, even after diluting with 10 mls of PG and 10 mls of VG it is...
Thanks Steve.
This is frustrating! I was so hoping this would be good and only purchased Capella's because it was in the "best of" thread. It smells like it would be so much better than TFA peanut butter if I could only get it to taste like it smells. I guess I will dilute some more and see...
I first mixed 10mls at 10% and even though it smelled wonderful in the bottle all I got was a burnt taste when vaped. :(
I have cut the mix with 5 mls PG AND 5mls VG and although not as bad it still tastes burnt. I find it hard to believe that a now 5% mix is too high. Could it be? Does anyone...
I couldn't help but laugh Danny! I know you mix a lot of tobacco flavors so it probably wouldn't be as bad as if I did the same since I mix a little bit of everything. Umm, no I don't think I want to try that!
I am confused! That doesn't take a lot by the way but can't figure out what the problem is. Maybe someone can help.
I mixed the 3 Capella flavors. I mixed the Sweet Tangerine and Peanut Butter each at 10%. I mixed the Apple Pie at 15%. The Tangerine and Apple Pie taste a bit weak but ok. I...
:( I don't have any TA!
Instead I will increase the flavor 2% and see how that goes. My list of next purchase items is growing by leaps and bounds!
Do you think it is better to add TA rather than increasing the flavor?
They were mixed 2 weeks ago. I haven't made any adjustments as of now and didn't want to add to the weak flavor only to have it intensify in a couple of weeks. Do you think after 2 weeks if it is still weak it is time to adjust? How much do you think it will gain in another 2 weeks?
I have not mixed any of these but from what I have read: Chocolate Glazed Donut- 9-12%, Chocolate Fudge Brownie- 9-10%. I have not found anything on the lemon. Hope this helps!
Thanks Hoosier!
I knew I saw a list somewhere but could not find it. When I searched capella percentages, it came up with nothing capella. Even when I just searched capella I got nothing. I will remember to use the advanced search next time and maybe I will have better luck.
