I am looking for starting percentages for Capella flavors.
The search engine here is no help. I think there is a thread somewhere but I can't find it. Does anyone know?
This thread proves once again taste is subjective!
You just have to mix for yourself and see what YOU think. Some will say "it" is sweet and others say it is not. I love reading reviews on flavors but "you" may not get the same results. I have yet to mix any creams but will be doing so this...
It seems some people are very serious about their labels! Wow!
Since I am only doing this for myself and a couple of family members I don't see that it matters a whole lot as long as we can read what is in the bottle. I got some cheap stickers a Wal Mart that work just fine for me. They have...
My son in law mixes by smell so you are not alone. He has never measured anything not even his nicotine. I was interested when I found out he was making his own until I saw him do it. Then I was worried about how much nicotine and not knowing exactly what he had mixed. He does use lower nicotine...
I know tobaccos need to steep and will get better in time. My question is how long should you wait before you decide to change the percentage? I have now tried all 3 flavors and they are weak to me. I mixed at 5% and the flavor is there but I'm not sure if I should wait it out or up the...
Thanks for the advice Danny. I am just happy to find 1 that I can say is good at this point. I am not afraid to try them all and I am sure I will get around to that. I don't plan on sticking to just one but for today that one was good. As for going up to 7%, I'm just going to wait a bit and see...
Yikes! That is another thought that hadn't occured to me Steve. I have made an excel spreadsheet with all the flavors I have tried and what percentages worked best for me. On a second page is recipes. If my HD dies I would be in BIG trouble! I think I need to take care of that matter this...
A little background so you understand my review. I have only been vaping a little over 3 months. I was afraid to go with tobacco flavors at first because I didn't want it to make me want a cigarette. I refused to try any until I encountered a stressful event. My daughter had a couple of premixes...
I do use the ejuicemeup calculator but I guess I am old school and never had a calculator to go by in the old days. I know the calculator is accurate but it is just as likely to put the wrong number in somewhere by mistake. I feel better if I use both methods. Besides, it keeps an old brain...
I do both as well. While I trust the calculator, it is only as good as the user and it is easy to enter the wrong amount somewhere. I like to double check before I start mixing to make sure I have entered things the way I want it. Better safe than sorry!
Congrats! It is awesome to make your own juice and come up with a winner. It won't be long before you have juice all over the place and more than you can vape. Have fun!
I really wish all of you would keep that cold stuff up north! I don't want it that is why I live where I do and now we are going to hit record low's. We will die down here! :frown:
No worries about topic, it is all relevant. I do like the shorty cartos they seem perfect for me. After looking at the tidy 10 clear's I think it would be too much but I could be wrong. That is a nice tip you added about tasting the flavor before adding nicotine. I'll give that a try as well.
It's a good idea if you want more life out of your coils and not hard to do. You won't burn any rubber and a torch is not needed. Here is a video showing you how.

So sorry you are dealing with all of this. We all know taste is subjective so no suggestions about which one I think you should try. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps you could mix some of what you already have and come up with something better? I don't know if it will work or not but...
