I did try to diy this, but without proper tools it's not an easy task. To begin with, i don't even have a hammer or tap wrench. I am just an IT professional with limited screw driver set. I did thought about creating a small pilot hole but how am i going to make one when its already drilled out... -

Thanks sig, I am hoping to achieve 2mm - 2.5mm each holes. I do have a pin-vice at my disposal but its not as straight forward as it is. If i just want to enlarge the airhole like what i did on my rsst then its no big deal but to re position the hole center point it's not easy without something... -

Thanks for the replies guys, however i need something to hold the top cap and make a hole something this diagram. Basicall green is current air hole, blue is what i am trying to achieve not red because it will destroy top cap. So i dont think electric drill will do the job as my hand might... -

God bless the pretzel. This just works and drains the juice well before dry hits. Manage to set this up 7/8 wraps 28AWG using 1mm paper clip, gives me about 0.6Ohm. Thanks iTEO!!!!- Outdated

Check out my Nano "dragon" Coil build
I build mine using 1mm paperclip 28AWG 8 wraps. I just cant seems to get the vapor to shot out like how it was shown by iTEO. Mine just shot upwards and i seems to get dry hits really fast even most of the cotton is still moist. I got half of my coil burried into the cotton bed but still no...- Outdated

That's right itshak, for me personally, relax long draws wont give me proper wicking but a short but rather strong draw will give me a lot better performance. -

Ithaka setup for Boba's or Gorilla
I am using Bishop's dual coil highlander build with 3mm silica and 1.2ohm ready wires and on auto feed mode as well. It is working fine boba or gorilla at 0.6ohm. -

Ithaka wicking issue after refill
Tested MrKrinkle's short wick on bishop's dual coil highlander setup, so far works great. It takes time to adjust airflow control for perfect juice flow. Open too much, it gets too wet making vapor production low, too less burn taste. But i'm currently happy on this setup, will try to experiment... -

Thanks guys, manage to get it working perfectly now. I replaced wick with 2x 2mm and torching it before use. Seems to wick a lot better now. Not sure if it's the torching, size or quality of wick makes it works. Bis, I tried to open for like 3-4 full turns, it does not solve the problem while... -
