The spring on the bottom of mine was useless because the pin bottomed out in the bottom cap long before the spring compressed. I removed probably 2 or 3 mm off the bottom of the pin and have full use of the spring now. -

It may be a placebo effect, but it feels like the mechanical with a kick give a more consistent vape than my ego twist. The difference may be that the kick is variable wattage, so it's able to compensate for variations in resistance that might come from build up on the coil and such. -

I'd go with a different battery unless you plan on using that kind exclusively. If you mod the Natural enough to fit, You may not be able to use a non protected battery in it later without a lot of work. I removed the protection circuit off the protected batteries I had ordered and they work... -

It's a nice looking mod. I've been giving serious consideration to buying a mechanical and a kick. The trouble being, as most of you know, the better mechanicals are so expensive. I found some that looked like they would work ok, but were chrome plated. Chrome is ok..until it starts to wear off...
