A very light fuming would still leave the glass transparent enough to see clearly inside. Unfortunately, I don't have any Sagewood examples because we haven't done any tips or tanks with only clear glass and fume.
I sent Faceless a PM about this, but I think he's already checked out for the night. Anyhow, I know it's not directly relevant to the iHybrid, but here's a video that explains our carto tank setup very well and should satisfy your curiosity:
We most certainly do! Silver fuming makes a shiny bluish hue and gold fuming makes a shiny pinkish hue. I think that for this iHy cap application, it would indeed look pretty incredible fumed. We don't have any gold right now, but if anybody wants to send us an earring, we'll happily torch it! ;)
If there is some one who would send us an iHy to test with, we would gladly do so and we would return it in better condition than when we got it! ;) If so, drop us a line at sagewoodglass@gmail.com so that we can make arrangements.

I think this might be doable, but we would definitely need specific dimensions. If it needs to be an exactly precise fit, it may be tough to make them from handblown glass as there are always at least slight variations in the size and shape of handmade items... We'd be more than happy to give...

We are going to be giving away 2 great prizes, and at this point we are just thinking of doing a random post number selection out of 200 posts, with a 2 entry per person limit and the caveat that each entry has to include a joke that is not more than a few lines long and is of course ECF...
Yes I have looked at other threads and seen several different types of contests that seem to work well, but I just wanted to get some feedback directly from you guys to see which has been your favorite.
So, we are going to have our first contest and give away some beautiful glass goodies! We'd love to have some feedback from you about what you've found to be the best / most fun style of contest here on the ECF. Thanks!
