Thanks!
I figured the stem was longer for the ego atties, which wouldn't have the polyfill in them. Totally understand the monotony of cranking out a bunch of these. Tolerances wander. I'll enjoy the stem for a little while (new toy!) and get in touch with you through your site. I'm going to...
The fuses came. I saw. I conquered!
That was a pretty easy operation. But I have a question, the hole in my contact ring is not centered. In fact, I was able to "pop" the lead of the fuse in from the side. I'm concerned the hole is going to wear out if I have to replace another fuse. Any way...
I'm wondering the same. Though I should have fuses coming today to fix my V2. So I hopefulyl won't need a retrofit any time soon.
PS, Magnus, I love your signature line. I call my vehicle (deep-blue 2012 Dodge Journey) the TARDIS.
Sounds like another niche product for you guys. *wink wink WINK*
Haha. No worries. I'll just have a stem for my eGo megas and will have to get another for my 510-sized ones.
I suspect, after closer reading, the long taper non-CV stems are only compatible with the Ego mega dual coil or the b atties. Am I correct? Any adapters to make these fit with a standard 510?
Somebody stop me!
I was only going to order the fuses! I was only going to order the fuses! I was only going to order the fuses!
But I looked at the long taper lucite stems and saw there was a water available. Looked like a nice TARDIS blue, so I ordered it. Figured I'd need the universal...
I'm giving a sample I received from Mad Vapes a try, Lemon-Blueberry Cotton Candy at 11mg.
I'm usually a lower nic vaper 6mg or 0mg. But this is pretty decent. It's a tad bit "soapy" for my tastes but I expect it will get better if I let it sit.
Yeah. That's why I need to get a PV with a meter. Yet ANOTHER thing to get.
I noodled around inside and it does look like everything is making good contact. I bridged the battery contact to the ring with a paper clip. No dice.
Ouch! That hurts!
Lucky for me, vaping is more of a novelty than a habit. I'd been smoke-free for several years before I go tmy SI Volt, and that was to vape 0mg and keep me from buying a pack while out of town on a trip.
I did get the LBL in 6 proof, just for a little nostalgic throat...
I think it's a sealant or wax that's just sort of dripped into the battery chamber.
I'll get my order for fuses off tonight!
Well, Good news, everybody! I checked Craigslist for a local vendor to pick up a quick eGo. There's one about an hour away. However, he's going out of towm tomorrow...
I should have tossed those fuses in with my last pipe sauce order. Woulda gotten the free shipping then. Maybe I'll have to add that pipe stem to my order ot fuses.
I've got the cash in my wallet--leftover from a trip I took and "off the books" as far as the wife is concerned. If she sees...
So, it appears I must have popped my cherr.... err fuse.
I've been vaping with the IMR 18350 batteries I bought initially with my ePipe and either Smoketec EGO Mega Dual Coils from Mad Vapes or Smoke Tech 2.0 oHm XL Cartomizers from EPM.
I was vaping a new MDC with Longbottom (yum!) with no...
So, I'm feeling like it's time to get a pipe stem. I also need some more sauce.
I went with Grandpa's Cough Medicine before and I like it. But it's a bit "light" and I was something heavier and more like tobacco. I have been vaping 0 proof, because I quit smoking a long time ago and this is...
Most definitely, get a label maker.
I keep my stuff in a few zipper pouches and random plastic cases. Q-tip case from my grocery store travel section makes a great carto case. Also look for plastic soap cases in the travel section. I keep my ePipe and battery charger cord in one.
