I got one for Christmas as well. Mine came pretty much dead and needed to let it charge for a half hour to vape anything in it. Left if charge for 4 or 5 hours and battery gauge showed full but still had red light showing. (Should have been fully charged in about 3-3.5 hours).
I gave up waiting...
Don't forget about manufacturing tolerances. No prebuilt head will be exactly as marked every time. That particular head you have installed now may read 2.08. When you replace it the next may read 1.7 or 1.9 around somewhere around the 1.8 range, even 2 again. No biggie.
My wife ordered an rdna40 for me for Christmas on cyber Monday. It never came. Luckily she's awesome enough to have picked me up a Hana Modz dna40 mini so I didn't end up empty handed today. The vapor shark is still on order. She was told mid January when she called them last week.
Lithium chargers are designed to put out 4.20V. I'm not sure I'd worry about a .04V overcharge, which may not even be accurate with a (cheapy multimeter).
It's probably not wicking good. If you are not getting any bubbles at all while using it, you'll get dry hits.
How much cotton you using for your wick?
You need to use the bat +/- to get the required 4.2V charge voltage.
The out +/- is a 5vdc output. This board is normally used for stuff like portable battery powered phone chargers.
If your battery up to the out pins you'll fry something.
Assuming a fully charged battery at 4.2volts and a mech with 0 voltage drop (not really possible) a .7ohm load would fire at 25watts.
In reality a mech will have some voltage drop and the battery voltage will drop as its being used. So your watts will drop. You're probably not better off with a...
Open the airflow more so it pulls less juice or up the wattage, or a combo of both.
Some liquid is normal because vapor cools and turns back into liquid near the drip tip area. If you drip tip doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the well it's sitting in, you're always going to have a...
