You should be ok.
The only time I've ever had problems with spare filled tanks is on airplanes. The pressure change on takeoff and landing can cause major leakage.
I dropped to 6mg from 12mg when I got my first rebuildable. 12mg was too harsh. On my kfl, 6mg hit as hard as 12mg in a protank. I recommend dropping down the nicotine.

My kayfun lite has the best flavor of any tank in my arsenal. That being said, it's also a gas guzzler compared to my clearomizers.
I'm not so sure that any RBA or RTA will use up less eliquid than a clearo, especially if you plan to use 28awg wire.

If you can handle 24mg in a kayfun, you'll probably be ok with it in a dripper too.
On standard coil stuff like protanks I used to use 12mg, then halved it to 6mg when I switched to my dripper. Still use 6mg now that I have a kayfun. For me, my kayfun tastes nearly identical to my dripper...
I have the ehpro clone as well. Mine was just like yours, except mine does have the markings on the bottom cap like the real KFL+. Mine isn't blank like yours.
I also run the plastic center piece with no o-rings. Works fine, no leaks.
