    just happened to my other protank. could it been something burning and rising up the tube? doesn't have a burning taste, just a very weird one. only vaping between 7.5-8w though.

    8 watts is not a problem. i always go over 8 and on my vamo i used to do 9-10w. it is possible to burn your coils and juice at a higher voltage but not you wick.

    ok. after like the 3rd soak i managed to dig it out. no idea what it is though. its actually light brown and looks a little like wood chips.

    inconsistent ohm readings

    only seems to happen with the kanger protanks. just put it in and it stated 2.2 ohms. after a while i notices it jumped to 3.1 ohms. restarted my evic and it went back down to 2.4 ohms.

    had a funny taste suddenly while vaping. when i looked into the central tube, i could see that there was some black stuff stuck to the side. tried scraping it off with a needle but nothing comes off and it is really hard. put it into boiling water as well but it doesn't help. any ideas?

    not too sure on refrigeration as i just keep mine in a closed cupboard and they usually don't last me that long. pretty sure it would be easy to find out online on the storing conditions.
