The extra heat generated by higher voltages will vaporize more juice than the eGo tank systems are normally tuned to deliver to the coil. In other words, more juice is being vaporized than the wick can keep up with. Although normally you would use a slow, soft drag with eGo tanks, my experience...
I use Joye SR 306 attys (2.2 ohms) on eGo batteries (3.4v) for dripping and in my experience they get very hot with chain vaping even at the fairly low wattage I'm using, so I'd suggest not making a big investment in 306s until you've tried them and are sure they will meet your needs...
She doesn't need to inhale into the lungs in order to absorb nicotine as it is absorbed well through mouth and nasal tissues. I have significantly impaired breathing and was finally able to quit a 45-year smoking addiction about 3-1/2 months ago with vaping after nothing else ever helped, but I...
Joye atomizers were not originally designed for dripping, they were designed to be used with cartridges that have filler material than you drip juice into and then insert into the atty tube. The idea is that the bridge absorbs juice from the filler material and then the wick feeds the juice from...
You may remember the big ruckus several years ago about the discovery that bisphenol A (BPA) leaches from polycarbonate baby bottles and water bottles. BPA is an endocrine disruptor (ED) that mimics estrogen in the mammalian body. Yet that is the same polycarbonate that is now being used in the...
1. I just wipe off the new atty and blow through the bottom end a few times. The primer is just plain PG or VG and is pretty tasteless and quickly vapes away with a few puffs.
2. The body shouldn't need replacing unless the threads somehow get stripped or some other kind of mechanical damage...
Fwiw, the U.S. FDA has been concerned about the safety of inhalation drug products in LDPE containers since at least 2004 as evidenced by this powerpoint presentation (warning: link is to a PPT file, not an html page). Concerns include not only the leaching of material from the LDPE vial into...
Congratulations, you've made a great start! A quick tip from someone who also used an analog-lookalike until their eGo kit arrived - use a soft, slow drag with the eGo-C. By the time your kit comes you'll probably be sucking hard and fast on that lookalike trying to get some satisfaction but as...
Metal oxidation is just a fact of life and so battery connections on any PV need cleaning every once in a while to ensure good electrical conductivity. Like Sailorman described, it's an extremely simple task - just dip a q-tip in alcohol and swab around the center post and threads. You should...
Two things -
1. Was the spike hole on the tank pre-punched or did the hole have to be made by the spike when you insert the tank? If it wasn't pre-punched, take the cap off the tank and remove the little hanging chad that gets made when the spike punches through the cap. The chad can block...
Personally, as someone who was finally able to quit a 45-yr addiction to analogs with e-cigs when nothing else ever worked, I think if anyone deserves a Nobel prize, it's Hon Lik.
Most likely you are dragging too hard, eGo tanks need a soft, slow drag. Short, hard drags like smokers do with an analog will suck too much juice through the wick and thereby cause flooding and leaking.
Another (less likely) possibility is that the wick is a bit too low in the atty spike...
Lol, didn't think about that but the thought has (jokingly) crossed my mind that maybe you were slipping them a little something under the table, you all being in Chicago and all. :)
