The High performance 289s were pretty fast, with 271HP. But nothing like the Boss.

Bought a Boss 302 Mustang, brand new in 1969, which was the first year for them. Drove it like a madman for two years, before getting married to the ex Mrs Rule. Traded it in for something more sensible. The two worst mistakes I ever made. God I loved that car. It would have been worth a pile of...

Yep. black Grands rock. The first REO I bought was a black ano, followed shortly thereafter with a black wrinkle. Both are still in frequent use; lots of miles in the cup holder of a golf cart, and lots of miles on the course.

I think that's why Rob went with the internal sliding lock on the P67, instead of a button twist lock. I believe the new Woodvils, which have been re introduced by Rob's former employee, also has the internal lock. I know what you mean about the chance of auto firing. I do a lot of my 'home'...

Everybody's different. I can't say I have a strong preference for either. I like my Grands for smaller diameter attys, like Nuppins, O16s, RM4s, etc. I like P67s for 22mm attys. I've never been comfortable with 22mm attys on Grands. My OCD can't deal with the overhang. Button position, whether...

IMO, fancy coil builds are a waste of time on single 18650 mods. I guess they work fine on multiple battery and regulated mods. I don't own one. I couldn't care less about coil 'artwork'. Once it's wicked, and the cap is on, I don't see the coil again until it's time to dry burn and rewick.

I have 3 authentic O16s. I don't have a clone, so I can't offer a comparison. I look on Vapinart every once in a while, to see if the authentics are back in stock. I'd get another, if they were. But so far, no go.

Who is your favorite online vendor, and why?

    Reosmods Psyclone Vapinart

    Do you re-use plastic bottles?

I just rinse them out with hot water, and twist up the corner of a paper towel to dry them.

Anyone else accidentally give up drinking?!

Same here. I quit 27 years ago. I had an allergic reaction to booze. When I drank, I sometimes would break out in handcuffs.

So tempting. But I don't even use all the REOs I have now. I have about 14 of them, with Grands and Woodvils. But I mainly use my two P67s.

It's kind of an 'art form', regardless what material you use for wicking. With cotton, it's a matter of getting just the right amount of friction, as you pull the wick through the coil. What you don't want is 'shoulders' at the sides of the coil.

$10 a week on Cotton Bacon? How often do you rewick? I think I've had the same $8 package for a year.

I have just gotten so used to cotton, that I can rewick in probably less than 2 minutes; cap off to cap back on.

I don't like rayon as well as cotton. It's hard to put my finger on exactly why. I just don't. Every once in a while, I'll fool with it. But I prefer cotton; either Cotton Bacon or Native Wicks Platinum.

Good to see you, Jif! Still the only other Reonaut on the Space Coast. There's a few squonkers around. But I've yet to see another REO in the wild.

    Question about e-cigarette cig-a-like kit I'm ordering

The battery appears to be 808 thread. It's not a 510, which is pretty much the standard today. So, finding cartridges might prove difficult.
