    The Reonauts new lounge

Land Rover Defender is a good analogy. I don't get the fascination with the current trend of 3D boxes, at 1 1/2 or 2 times the price of a REO. I appreciate high end craftsmanship. I have a couple of Pdib's units, and they are truly works of art. But $300 or $400 for a printed box? C'mon now!

When the first Vamo came out, it was the beginning of the end for Provape. I remember how people would argue until they were blue about why you should buy 4 Vamos instead of one Provari.

RDA The pros of using an RDA

I know next to nothing about tanks, other than the occasional need to change the coil in Mrs Rule's tank. Personally, the only thing I vape is mechanical squonkers, with bottom feed atomizers. I enjoy the whole ritual of building coils, wicking, and DIYing all my juice. Plus, I have zero fears...

    The Reonauts new lounge

Provape did fail to get with the times. They were the best thing on the market, before the sub ohm craze hit. I believe the max output for the V2 tubes was 14.5W, and the lowest resistance coil possible was 1.2 ohms. Fine for those days, but laughably inadequate for today's hobby, sub ohm vaper...

    The Reonauts new lounge

Was sorry to read about Provape, even though I haven't used one in a few years. I still have 4 perfectly working V2s in the rack. They were a great device, back in the day. I vaped a lot of gennys on them.

The one you can't do without

Any one of my mechanical squonkers; probably a REO P67, for the durability. Hadaly or O-16 atty. DIY juice.

Fat Daddy Vapes at your risk!!!

Sorry to hear this. I haven't ordered from FDV in a while. But I have in the past. They were always a good source for pieces and parts. I hope he gets well soon.

    The Reonauts new lounge

I can't say that I'm an official cloud chaser. But I used to smoke pipes, and then cigars; moreso even than cigarettes. I even used to inhale, when pipe and cigar smoking. As a result, I'm accustomed to a thick, rich vape. I make all my DIY liquids at 75-80% VG, and 6mg/ml nic. Flavor...

    An alternative cotton

One of the things about squonking, for me anyway, is that I almost never char or burn a wick. If anything, I'm more likely to over squonk and flood the atty, than dry hit. I suppose there are others who forget to squonk, and get a dry hit. I dunno. But because of this, when I rewick, which can...

COD Vapers..... Yep im going there

    Nope. Strictly Witcher3 here.

    An alternative cotton

As I mentioned earlier, I use rayon in attys that I run single Z coils, more specifically, with heavier wire. I use 24g 316L SS in Stumpys and Hadalys. The coils are sturdy enough to wick with rayon, nice and tight, without disturbing the coil. However, on some smaller attys, like the Nuppin...

    An alternative cotton

I guess I missed the 'OMG, this stuff is great' part. I've used rayon. It's fine. Maybe a little fussier than Cotton Bacon or Native Wicks to work with. I use it sometimes. But it doesn't make me excited about it enough to swear off cotton.

    An alternative cotton

Not much difference, IMO. I get a little less waste with NWP. It comes in a 'rope', sorta like rayon does. So I just cut off a short piece to work with. I don't notice any difference, as far as flavor with the NWP or CB. I just like working with the NWP a little better.

    An alternative cotton

I like rayon in some attys; particularly ones that I run single Z coils; like Hadalys and Stumpys. Not so much in smaller attys that I run duals, like the Nuppins.

    An alternative cotton

I used to use KGD. Still have a box around. But as a long time cotton user, lately I prefer either Cotton Bacon V2, or especially Native Wicks Platinum.

    Logic commercial

I have no problem with cigalikes. Many of us who have been vaping for a long time, and even turned vaping into a hobby, started out with them; and then, once one foot was in the door, moved on to more advanced gear. I started out with V2 automatic batteries and pre filled cartomizers. Granted, I...

    The Reonauts new lounge

I wonder what aliens use for wicks? Their climate may not be suitable for growing cotton; and their technology is probably far beyond needing to produce rayon.

A 3D printed box wouldn't have made it. That's for sure! I love the tip on the O-16.

I found my favourite vape!!! Who's with me?

Mechanical squonker, REO usually; although I have a couple Pdib Li'l Pinches that never leave the house. For toppers: bottom feed Hadaly, Stumpy, or O-16. 316L SS coils. All my juice is DIY.

EW Anyone else who can't stand fruit flavors ?

I make all my own juice, and have never cared much for fruit recipes. About the only one I make and like is OSDIY Blue Raspberry Slush. My taste preferences generally run toward caramel, vanilla type stuff.
