    No nicotine but still vaping??

I know I have a very addictive personality. Everything I do, I go at it full bore. If it turns out it's something I don't enjoy doing, I stop. Some things I've undertaken have been self destructive, some have been very beneficial. I stopped drinking years ago. When I drank, I went at it full...

    No nicotine but still vaping??

Dunno. I don't vape zero nic. I vape 6mg/ml. But I can only assume it's either because of the repetitive hand to mouth mechanics, that would be tough to give up in itself. Sort of like drinking decaf coffee. You're still going through the mechanics of drinking coffee. Or, some people just enjoy...

Who has the best prices for authentic batteries?

I don't look for 'cheap'. I look for reliably authentic, and name manufacturers. This automatically excludes buying from Amazon, eBay, and many B&M shops. It also excludes many rewrap brands, like MXJO, Efest, etc. I buy exclusively from RTD. Others buy from sites like Illumin.

    Yet another explosion

I should have said it was 'ferritic' steel. But that would have further confused her.

    Best battery for mech 2017

I don't know what a Docan battery is. But if you're building as low as 0.15 ohms, you're below the CDR of a 20A battery, and in risky territory. I use mechanicals exclusively, and I mainly use LG HG2s.

    Yet another explosion

Lol. My daughter got a new refrigerator recently. She was telling me about it on the phone. I asked her what finish it was. She said: 'It's that fake stainless'. I laughed and asked why she called it 'fake stainless'. She said: 'It's fake, because refrigerator magnets stick to it'. I said: 'It's...

    Yet another explosion

There is also no such thing as 'surgical grade' stainless steel either. Surgical is a use, not a grade designation.

Calling them 'faux' hybrids works for me.

How come diff. coils with the same ohms heat up differently when volts constant?.

I wish I could explain Heat Flux, in every day or layman' terms. But suffice it to say that I use Steam Engine HF function to determine my wire gauge and resistance.

It's fine. It's used on pipe threads on potable water pipes and food handling systems all the time.

I enjoy making coils with the Coilmaster. When I'm bored, I'll make a few for attys I have, even if I'm not needing to rebuild right away. I'll put them in little sip lock bags and label what atty they're for. I've even been able to successfully make some parallel coils, which takes a little...

I use 316L. Unfortunately, magnets don't pick it up too well.

I have used magnets on flat top batteries, and it works fine. However, I don't use REO door magnets. They are small, and they tend to slide. The best ones I've used are old Poldiac switch magnets, that I found in my spare parts box. They are 7mm OD, and fit perfectly in the cut out in the REO...

    The Reonauts new lounge

REOs were originally designed to use button top batteries, with the exception of Woodvils and P67s. Many people use flat tops in REO Grands. I personally don't, because I don't care for the slight additional button throw distance. It's not much, but I notice it. I also had some arcing issues...

As for the Orbitronics, personally, I wouldn't use them, especially if they fit too tight to allow the spring to do its job, in the event of a problem. If I'm not mistaken, they are protected L-Ion. Protected batteries are usually a little bit longer than unprotected IMR, which we normally use. I...

Oh 'squonk porn' where art thou?

Yes there are. I don't have any recommendations. Mine are all mechanical. But there are several regulated squonkers. Some are very high end. Some quite reasonably priced.

Never had need for it, when out and about. The only time my attys come off is when I'm home. But as Train said. I'm sure you could secure it behind the bottle somehow.

Oh 'squonk porn' where art thou?

It really depends how particular you are. I'm not very. I squonk exclusively. I have 12 REOs, of various types, and one Pinch. A second on the way soon. When I change flavors, I simply change bottles, blow out the feed tube, and rewick.
