The trick I found was to use the 2mm mandrill from my coil master kit. Shove it down inside the tube, and it works like a plug, while unscrewing and replacing the cap. If you don’t have a Coil Master, you could use a 2mm drill bit. -

Indefinitely, with proper periodic maintenance. I have coils in some of my squonk attys that are well over a year old. I can’t recall ever HAVING to replace a coil because it was worn out. How many set ups?
I have 16 squonkers, some of which I rarely use, and 4 of which I use most of the time. Of those 4, I rotate with usually 2 at a time. Then I may swap one or both, and use the other 2. The reason is that I have 4 DIY juices that I use regularly, and each mod and atty is juice specific.- Rule62

I have thought about enlarging the hole in the stainless cap on the REO soft bottles, to accommodate REO tubing, instead of the 4mm x 2mm that comes with the soft bottles. I just haven’t done it, as yet. -

My experience has been that the smaller tubes (4mm x 2mm) that the REO soft bottles use does loosen up after a while. Getting them on the nipple the first time, or the first few times, is a chore. But the ends do expand eventually. The mods I use most frequently nowadays aren’t REOs. The tube... -
