    Can't say I've ever used one, but it sounds like like you placed a non-rechargeable battery into a charger- I think that's considered a major no-no (can start a fire, explode, etc..).

    Like others I too have a DIY supply including plenty of nic juice, but that would eventually run out. Frankly, if the feds decided to crack down on e-cigs, I'd turn to the black market way before I picked up another analog.
