My current 'perfect' vape is a Seven-30w with an AeroTank Giant - big 'n heavy but the battery lasts *ages* and the Giant seems a pretty reliable vape. I have a Kayfun too which I use daily but yeah - getting the wicking just so can be a pain - if I just want a great vape with no hassles I screw...
That's because none of them understand or respect that there's vapers that vape because they *enjoy* vaping - even when organizations such as the WHO start to soften their stance on e-cigs a little there's this 'it should be an aid to quitting altogether' mentality. I'm sure if you told one of...
50/50 PG/VG with 6mg nicotine and 9 drops of Inawera RY4 per 20ml - been vaping that for months and could probably vape it happily for the rest of my days - can't say the same for any other liquid/mix I've tried (although I am fond of Capella's 'Simply Vanilla') :)
It's tricky Bill - I read Carl's response to yours and I agree with him - drawing attention to bad science that benefits our cause is just playing the same game Glantz is - we have to be better than that if we're ever going to 'win' this.
When you have simple infographics like that backed by...
I believe one of Dr. Farsalinos' studies actually confirmed this Bill - e-cig delivery of nicotine was in the region of 40% of that delivered by regular cigarettes (per puff) with more time needed for the nicotine to get into the bloodstream. This was likely based on earlier-gen hardware though...
I might strike that last dig about 'protecting the children' and instead focus on the damage even 'middle-ground' taxation might cause - consider the following:
e-cigs are already taxed as consumer goods - given that current research contends that they're at best harmless and at worst 99% less...
I use mine when I'm out and about - it's just so convenient to carry 2 eRolls and a fully charged PCC with a needle-tip bottle of juice - doesn't take up any more space than a pack of cigs, it's nice and discreet - invisible almost for stealth vaping. Going to order a spare kit soon 'cause I...
Well, the shisha/hookah pens don't even have nic in them so how - and more importantly why are they going to stop kids using them?
Oh. That's right - because it looks like something else...
Glad you've got something that works for you!
I have to say though, I use my eRoll as much as my MVP - the eRoll goes out with me everywhere and the MVP stays at home. For the tiny thing that it is, the eRoll (especially with SS/cotton wicks) delivers a great vape!
That article is a mess so I apologize for quickly scanning it.
Dr. K (and others?) has found that e-cigs are far less efficient at delivering nicotine than cigarettes - somewhere in the region of only 30%-40% of the nicotine is actually delivered - this may be higher on 3rd generation devices...
Been using my PT2 for 3+ months now - no leaks, no gurgles, no dry-hits.
The trick is learning how it works (most common pitfall is screwing it down too tight and blocking airflow) and learning to re-coil/re-wick them. All my cotton wicks are made to suit the juice I'm using and the 1.8 ohm...
The only thing I'd point out to the OP is that constantly vaping is still better for you than occasionally smoking.
I'm not one to tell people how to live their lives but if vaping keeps you off the cigarettes for good then that's a win - irrespective of how (in)frequently you use it. 'Social'...
Wow. Do you think the plaintiff is gonna get contempt of court just for turning up?
Here's the full section:
Seems to me all they're doing is stating what's in their product - there's no safety claims there with regard to a 'simulated smoking device'.
You don't need to disassemble the eRoll tanks to clean them - just running hot water through them then flicking the water out and leaving them somewhere warm to dry should be sufficient. Remember to run water through the mouthpiece too to get any condensation out of there.
Also, you can buy...
