Can anyone point me to a link so I can find out what this film was about and what its goals were?
If vapers are still interested in getting a film made that puts vaping in the positive light it deserves, that's something my company, Survivor Films might be interested in. We're based in the UK...
I'd like one of these politicians to tell me how many smokers lives are worth the wellbeing of one child.
Seriously. How many smokers have to die before what a child *might* do becomes a secondary concern?
100? 10,000? 1,000,000? How many children are our lives worth?
And what is it exactly...
I don't have a problem with kids vaping - but then, until proven otherwise, I'm of the opinion that vaping is harmless.
Would I encourage kids to vape? No - no more than I'd encourage them to drink.
People - especially vapers - need to get the idea out of their heads that vaping=smoking...
Lynn Dawkins and the University of East London are doing a study on vaping/smoking - there's currently an ad running on ECF for it but since I use an ad-blocker, I missed it until I came here on a friend's PC :D
Info here: http://www.uel.ac.uk/psychology/research/ecigarette-study/
You'll need...
Yeah, I wouldn't use a lighter to try and clean wicks - been there, done that and they just end up a black, sooty, foul-tasting mess :D
Isopropyl will certainly dissolve some of the crud out of an eGo atty though so that's worth a shot. Good luck!
I wish that were true. Relegating vapers to vaping only where smoking is permitted and taxing e-cigs at a comparable rate to cigarettes will make smoking a more compelling option for those that can't afford the taxes. E-cigs (liquid/cartos etc.) are cheaper now but if this kind of legislation...
Sadly soaking them alone (in water) won't do much - as for drying, 15 mins or so on something warm (I stick them on my Internet router) does the trick.
It's not as fiddly as you might think and the eGo attys are actually pretty robust so long as the wick isn't glued to the coil (hence the...
Simplest way of looking after your eRoll attys is this:
1) Soak them in some hot water for 15mins in case the wicks are stuck to the coil.
2) Prise them apart gently with a jeweller's screwdriver.
3) Burn the black gunk off the wick on a gas hob (should be white-ish when clean - leave the wick...
Whilst I agree it's good news, given how many politicians are pointing at the FDA and saying 'they haven't made their mind up so we'll make up our own rules' I can't help but feel it's a double-edged sword...
The new Spire looks pretty nice - it's a Sigelei Max in a fancy frock with a slightly tweaked UI (and the old 33hz chip) but not outrageously expensive and definitely a looker.
I use the MVP myself though :)
I have Inawera's RY-4 concentrate for mixing my own - it's OK - better in my opinion than Dekang RY-4 and Joyetech's version. It is a little sweet though and the caramel/vanilla get lost in the smokiness - I'd say it tastes more like tobacco and brown sugar than anything else. Currently my ADV...
Green Smoke are no longer a member of SFATA - the Smoke Free Alternatives Trade Association - an organization they originally founded with V2 cigs.
SFATA members
I'm actually a fan of Green Smoke products and whilst I've moved on to an MVP2/ProTank II and an eRoll, I still bought packs of...
Glantz is pimping the idea that we're all smoking as much as we were before and using e-cigs to increase our nicotine intake by vaping in places we can't smoke - total BS of course, but people are believing him.
I haven't noticed a metallic taste at all (although that may just be me) - the tutorial I watched advised oxidising the wicks at least three times with a blow torch (I used a gas hob) and then dripping some e-liquid on them and letting that burn - I used 400 grade mesh if that's of any use :)
Tsk.
There's many reasons to rebuild, vape-quality being the most obvious - given the lack of QC on mass-produced Kanger etc. heads it's unsurprising that the vape experience with them can be underwhelming for many users. 5 minutes of Kanthal wrapping and some boiled cotton and you're in an...
Point is, even in your case Jman, you find yourself smoking less because of vaping - who the heck cares what your usage of e-cigs is if it means you smoke a few less cigarettes a day? That people can do that at all is a huge health win - the fact that some people use e-cigs to completely stop...
