Sorry if this has been answered already, but Loranns has an excellent lemonade flavoring. It has, IMO, the perfect sour bite to it already as well. This flavoring is something I just haven't been able to accomplish with TFA's options. Lemonade Lemonade (LA) 12% Sweetener to taste 0.5-2%...

Andria, or anyone else that may know, how does the DX Bavarian Cream compare to the original Bavarian Cream? Do they taste the same? Are the percentages of flavor used the same between the original and the DX(around 5%)?

According to my notes I have both the Acai and Black Currant starting at 5% flavoring. The Acai makes a great addition to the Grape Juice flavor to round it out more. Grape Juice Grape juice 8% Acai 2.5% Sweetener 1.4%

You might want to also add just a hint of wintergreen and anise/licorice to start, adjust from there. I haven't tried the root beer flavor so maybe it won't even need these additions?

In order to increase throat hit you have some options. You could increase your PG content, try adding a couple percent PGA to the mix, or try using a small amount of a spicy flavoring in your mix. Since you aren't using nicotine you have to make compromises to get the throat hit how you like it.

I know, I'm not Steamer I think the point was to only use a very small amount of glue, and to only apply it to the bottom side of the main piece of the internal structure. This leaves you with the ability to remove the other pieces in case you need to access the board for removal.

I second what disco180 just said ^^^^there. A scale that measures down to 0.01 gram increments(at least) is needed when mixing by weight, especially for smaller batches. If the goal is to measure accurately, that is.

You have to actually thread the bottle top most of the way up the screw, so there is only maybe <1mm of tubing sticking out the top of the bottle top. Doing this also ensures a rock solid, leak proof connection. Edit The end of the 510 screw should go all the way through the bottle cap and...

Switching to bulk apothecary for PG/VG was the most important change to my DIY experience. It brought my cost per ml way, way, down. They have, IMO, the purest tasting PG/VG that I have came across as well. I actually enjoy vaping unflavored from time to time now, at 65% VG it just has a nice...

I could be mistaken, but I think it's an issue of keeping the vendors from using the classifieds/coop as a means of selling their goods. Not saying I agree with it, or that my assumptions are even correct. To stay on topic, I am absolutely loving my bottom fed DNA40! I am finally 100% confident...

Their shipping is based on weight. If you just get 120ml nicotine their shipping is pretty cheap. Once you add PG and VG to the order the shipping price jumps drastically. Vapers Tek is still cheaper, you are correct about that. I would order my nicotine from them, but I don't want the added...

One thing to keep in mind as well is the pg/vg mix, along with power levels, and the topper/build used will affect flavor and sweetness. All of my mixes are done at 65%vg, even without flavor added there is plenty of sweetness to the vg (for me anyways.) I've yet to add any actual sweetener to...

The Deans ones aren't exactly the same, they are missing the lip that helps us secure them in place. You may still be able to use them, but they aren't "exactly" the same. Without the lip they may be a little harder to glue them in perfectly straight.

I thought about modding one of those see through atty's for BF, but what worries me is the heat not the juice. Most plastics will off-gas some pretty nasty stuff long before they get hot enough to melt, just saying. I have seen enough pictures of the delrin melted on the plume veil. Delrin...

First off, welcome to the thread! I can't answer your question about the fuses. I misplaced mine after opening the packaging (they are very tiny) and decided just to run without them. I would suggest getting some experience soldering, watch some videos and practice on some kind of circuit...

It looks really nice. In my opinion, having options is good thing. It seems as though this new version might be a little easier to build, and will most definitely be easier to replace the board(should the need arise.) I like it, enough that I just might wait for it to be my second GDNA

Send me a PM. I still have 1 spare 510 and a couple spare vented screws so I can send you one of each. The 6/32 screw still has the stock 1mm vent hole instead of 1/16th hole, but it's working just fine for me. If you would like I can even sand the head down appropriately before I send it off...

I was able to source a new DNA40 board so I don't have to be without my favorite mod while waiting for RMA with Evolv. I got the new board soldered in. I do NOT want to have to take the internals apart again, next time (should I be so unlucky) I will do a whole new set of internals instead. I...

Yeah the screen glitched on me. It still worked fine for a minute after resetting, then just stopped showing all signs of life mid hit. I have checked all my solder points and checked for continuity through all my wires and connection points. It is toast. I am starting a RMA with Evolv. Makes...
