Your question got me curious so I just built a 5.1 ohm coil and the IPV2 fired it no problem. Granted it maxes out at 14.1 watts and 8.5v with a coil of that resistance, but it still fires it. Even if you set it higher than it can achieve it just jumps back down while firing to it's max... -

Optimal build for Kayfun on DNA30D
Maybe you should re-read my post, because that build is in a kayfun. No smoke, just vapor. No, it isn't too hot. The airflow through my kayfun is nearly 1/16th stock all the way through(when I checked it I think it was 1.39mm on the outside and 1.59mm through the positive shaft to build deck)...- BigLungs

You certainly can! Mine currently has a 1.4ohm 28gauge kanthal 3/32 coil on it and I can run it all the way up to 36 watts(ipv2) before it starts to taste off. Even running it lower at 26 watts it still produces plenty of vapor instantly. You don't need a certain resistance to be able to use...- BigLungs

Every time I have ordered from them it has came in glass for the smaller sizes, once you get up to 4oz then it is plastic bottles Edit: I haven't ordered the 1oz size(it's pointless, just get the 4oz) so I am unsure on that one, I also haven't ordered larger than 4oz so I don't know about those.- BigLungs

The IPV3 sounds great and all, but if you want to take full advantage of the 100 or 150 watts you have to do a low resistance build. It maxes out at 7v output. Say you prefer to use 1ohm coils, at 7v the max the device can provide is 49 watts, so just to get it over 50 watts you have to go... -

Just go to the hardware store and get a couple of the thickest o-rings that fit the 510 screw. If one alone isn't enough then stack two or three on. Teflon washers are also an option since they are non conductive.
