Yes the vtc4(30A) is plenty fine for this device. You will be able to run the device to the max if you wish with that battery with no problems. They are the battery I run in mine. I also have run mine with the AW 18650 1600mah(24A) with no problems other than shorter battery life. -

Kiwi, where did you acquire those 3 battery cases in the top left? I have the clear ones below those and I don't like the pointy corners, I would much rather have the rounded corner ones like yours. Also do they latch securely and stay latched if carried in a pocket? Thanks -

Yes I have the black and my finish is coming off already in a few spots. The roughest thing mine is exposed to is the inside of my pocket, haven't dropped it, haven't had juice leak on it at all, and I don't put anything else in the pocket with it yet the finish is coming off. If you know it's not your build such as screws coming loose, then check to make sure that the positive screw in the 510 on the IPV is making solid contact. You may need to try unscrewing it a quarter turn, if your atties are sitting completely flush it may be that the positive screw is making... -

If you are to use isopropyl alcohol it is best to use the strongest you can find such as 91% or even better 99%. They contain less water which is obviously better for this use, will evaporate faster and leave behind less moisture I have used this trick to save a cell phone i dropped in the... -

Yes but for it to regulate to that 3.6v minimum the battery has to be at 3.6 or lower. Battery voltage above that will give you straight battery power. That is what P4U described to me anyways. This is why you build slightly higher resistance to avoid that. There is no reason to build super... -

I use vtc4's in my IPV2 and at around 30 watts 0.5ohm single coil I can get 2 days out of one. I go through about 8-10ml in those two days with one battery. Edit If I was to use the exact same batteries and coil in my mech I only get 3/4 of a day with one battery. -

I have a black one that I purchased from an Ebay retailer and mine stays on my set wattage as well. I tried leaving my battery out all night last night while I slept and it stayed on my settings. I wasn't expecting it to remember set wattage, but it does, and I like it. -

I just used a micro screwdriver and touched it to the positive pin and angled it to touch the wall. Mine didn't fire and the only clicking noise I ever hear from mine is the click the buttons make when pressed. -

Mine says "check atomizer" when nothing is connected, however when I do short it the device reads "low res". As far as I know this is normal behavior. Edit When my device reads "low res" it is not firing at all anymore. -

This is definitely not normal behavior. If it was me I would have it exchanged. You don't have to ship it to Israel you only need to ship it to asMODus (the warranty center in the US). It's your call on if you want to keep a defective unit or not, after all it was your money that purchased it. -

If the negative side of the coil touches the wall, the wall becomes your new negative connection. This will change your resistance because it will cancel out the coil running to the negative post(from the point it touches the wall), but generally will still fire and function mostly normally. I have just been threading it in and out tightening it as far as it goes. The majority of my atomizers are *almost* sitting flush now. It isn't really bothering me anymore now. It's much better than the 3ish+ mm gap I had before. Over time it will probably fix itself just with adjusting the screw. -

Yeah mine definitely does not screw all the way down. I can't see anything in the threading but maybe it has a burr in there. I guess I will have to dig through my tools and see if I have a tap the correct size. It ticks me off because if they had actually taken the time to thread the positive... -

Anyone else have this problem? I just got my Ipv2 and my positive pin doesn't screw all the way in. As a result nothing, and I mean nothing sits flush. My pin only screws down half way. Check my pictures, is the pin supposed to be threaded along it's whole length, because mine is not...
