    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Any metal box as long as it's not aluminum or magnesium will be plenty sufficient to contain a thermal event from a vaping sized battery. Just like the hobby grade charges talked about earlier, there are solutions used in radio control that would be overkill for this purpose. I have LiPo...

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

A good place to start with battery education would be the people at the vape shops selling the chargers. I have only been to one shop where they actually took the time to explain to a person buying a starter kit the proper way to take care of a battery.

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Well don't grab it to call 911 to tell them it's spewing hot gas, probably won't work.

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Oh yeah, we'll push that high to get away from traffic and weather. It's nice having that option when the routes are heavy, just go above all of them. :-)

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Like I said, I haven't personally heard of an event other than not powering up but then again I only use these types of batteries for vaping and just plain ole carto's at that so nothing even close to working the battery hard. However I do spend an unhealthy amount of time and money on UAV's...

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Now with all of that being said I just recently had a 10000 mah LiPo thermal even on a battery that had been put into a storage state of charge a week earlier. It hadn't been touched, used, charged, discharged or anything else for over a week. It just up and decided that it was done being...

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

I agree that monitoring batteries should never be played down. However I feel like there is a lot of unnecessary fear being spread too often about batteries. One can put them on a good charger and not have to sit there checking the temperatures every minute. Laptops have been using these types...

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Actually I have a bank of computerized chargers many of which cost as much as I have spent on all my vape gear to date. However I seriously doubt anyone into vaping would appreciate me recommending a charger that cost 10 times what they just spent on their first upgrade from an eGo to an 18650...

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Spend $20 on a smart charger and throw the bundled dumb charger in the trash then the charger will tell you when you've charged long enough.

    Don't charge your batteries overnight!

Count me lucky as well, keep 2 18350's and 2 18650's on my i4 charger around the clock. But with that being said I trust an i4 charger exponentially more than 99% of the junk being sold on the web and at vape shops. (Not worried of they cook off, they're in my lipo safe where I charge lipo's big...

One more quick question about carto tanks

Running a single coil Boge in an IBT at 9.5 with 50/50 juice as I type this. I do punch them myself and punch quite a bit larger hole than standard but never a burnt hit up to 12 watts.

SC NEWB didnt even mean to quit LOL

One of the often acquired side effects of quitting smoking and starting steaming -GAS- and you got it (gear acquisition syndrome). Welcome to the new hobby of late nights in a dark room looking at the glow of a computer monitor shopping for vape gear.

    Not welcome here?

Few on this part of ECF will know the significance of that word but for some unexplainable reason when typing on a vaping forum I have an overwhelming urge to use "malarkey" while drinking orange juice.

Any new Mods coming out soon?

I'm not sure what criteria Inno will give me on this one, past testing stuff I have received I have been told to keep or destroy so I just keep it. Now with that being said that stuff was electronics for Radio Controlled and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles not vaping gear. So if a power supply were to...

Any new Mods coming out soon?

So I get this just today and less than 15 minutes after posting the first picture I get an announcement on FB that they have completed phase 3 and made changes. No matter as far as I'm concerned, I'll review it as I have it then PIF it to someone else. Sent from.............. don't know, it's...

Any new Mods coming out soon?

Just a quick 1 minute check out and it looks like this when powered up. There is no button for "firing" it, the button in the middle of the DRV turns it on "arms it" then I attached a Boge LR carto to the cord and it fires when you suck on it. Sent from.............. don't know, it's confusing.
