First off you can take what Baditude says to the bank, he has forgotten more about vaping than most people will ever learn.
As for the RSST, there probably IMO isn't a better RBA for a beginner. No they are not the same quality as some exotic $300 atty but for the money, they are the biggest...
Yes, a dripper. Something like the Igo-W is a dual coil RDA which only needs the air holes enlarged a little for maximum clouds of vapor. The next option would be what another poster suggested, the RSST which when built properly can also produce maximum clouds.
Dual Coil Igo-W cloud monster-...
A decent mechanical clone for about $20 and an Igo-W RDA for around $12 then about $10 worth of supplies (Kanthal and Cotton Balls), an 18650 battery $10, decent charger $10 and a dedicated ohm meter for atty's $20 ($82) then you can make clouds that will cause flight delays at your local...
Wow, I see this thread of mine pop back up and although it was just a couple months ago when I posted it seems like almost a lifetime in Vaping. I still have the 134 and have used is down at .8 ohms many MANY times without any problems. In fact just tonight I got my Igo-W out to take pictures of...
There are as many different flavors for E-Cigs as there are people. Then you can select nicotine levels generally anywhere from 0 to 36mg.
Here's some different flavors I carry with me and nic levels of 12 and 18 (I also have plain VG with no flavor or nic just for making clouds and plain PG...
Well as you can see in this picture of a used one of mine, there are two small coils laying 90 degrees to each other on the top of the atomizer with a small amount of silica wick over the top coil as a flavor wick. Much like the original 30 but by some mystery of design this is head and...
Your resistance is waaay to low for an MVP. How many wraps are you using on your single coil?? Take that number of wraps and double it on each coil just to get the same resistance as your single coil.
Here is a dual coil build of 30ga on an Igo-W and as you can see it's .80 ohms (micro coils...
Glad you found it. FYI, the one in the picture is the clone by Ehpro, I also have an original by Tactical Workz but it along with all my other originals stay home and I bring my clones on the road with me. In all honesty without having the two side by side it's all but impossible to find the...
Currently running an RSST with a 2.0 ohm micro coil around tightly wrapped 400 SS Mesh wick on a Maraxus and nothing in the less than $100 range of atomizers I have even come close in flavor or cloud density.
Sorry but for me it's been 100% my local B&M store. Yes more expensive than FT but I get to walk out with it right then and there, more expensive than Mt Baker but I get to watch through the glass as they mix my flavor.
I look all the time on the net at stuff, prices, etc. but when it comes...
Very Easy to answer, follow the money.
As soon as the governments find a way to tax it then they will shift the opinion. However the amount of revenue generated will have to outweigh the lobby money lining law makers pockets courtesy of big tobacco. Vaping looks huge to us but in comparison to...
Rebuilding the PT coil can seem a little intimidating but as you have figured out it's not real difficult. And yes you are 110% correct, getting the grommet back in the base can be the most aggravating and time consuming part of the entire re-build process but even that is not hard, just...
After my very first rebuild with a micro and cotton I don't even bother with a factory head. I tear them down, throw out the coil/wick and rebuild it for cotton. There's nothing even close to compare except that they are both for vaping.
I have to disagr........or um I mean agree. I resen..........um I mean resemble that remark.
About 1/3 of my mods/batteries not counting Christmas presents.
I have to agree with Tactical on this one. I'm going to venture a guess your getting a whole lot more PG than your used to with the cotton and drying your throat.
One thing you could try besides boiling is some sterile medical grade cotton and see if that makes a difference.
FWIW, I use plain...
I have been playing (working) with Lithium based batteries for 14 years. I have subjected them to some horrific things inducing failure but to this day I have never seen a Lithium based battery "Explode". They vent, rarely they go off like a roman candle or magnesium flare but even more rare is...
I'm sure there are as many different chargers with as many different circuits as there are opinions. One thing is your charger may be briefly stopping it's charging to check the status of the battery which could be why your seeing the green light flicker every few seconds. It's a "dumb" circuit...
Lithium based batteries can have a "thermal event" both from over charging as well as over discharging. Shorting one can also start a thermal event.
Personally I have ZERO experience with failed ego form batteries but I have had my fair share of thermal events with LiPo batteries. Lithium based...
