Quick question. What inhalation technique is everyone using? Prior to this I was using a cartotank and did mouth to lung but it seems that on the KF that's not working for me. Direct lung isn't as harsh and produces more vapor.
And I'm up and running! It's going to take some getting used to the airier draw but so far I like it. I have the Tobeco version and I gave it a bath with dish soap before using it. I'm not tasting any machine oil. Just tasty strawberry shortcake. No leaks yet, but it's early.
The Glossy has a replaceable head. They are a little cheaper here https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/smok-rbc-glossy-tank-1-6ml-h2.html
edit: but the replacement heads are cheaper at Sweet Vapes...
Not sure it's the cheapest, but I ordered from VapeNW for $32.49 shipped. From past experience, their shipping is super fast and that's why I ordered from them. I ordered yesterday and expected delivery is Saturday.
It was my intention to quit vaping initially and I still may at some point but, right now I have no desire to quit. I vape 6 mg and feel like that's not so bad. The main objective was to quit smoking and I accomplished that over a year ago.
I ordered the Tobeco K4 yesterday. This is my very first rebuildable and I'm anxious to see if I can make a go of it. I'll definitely be keeping up with this thread for tips and potential issues. Thanks to all who have posted so far!
I smoked a pack a day and started with 12 mg and it was too much for me. I was having a bit of stomach trouble and headaches. I cut back to 6 mg and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
Finding the right flavor has been the hardest for me. I've been at this over a year and still haven't found many that I truly like. Most have an off taste to me. I agree that menthol is a pretty safe choice in the beginning. Also, know that your taste buds will change the longer you don't smoke...
I have that problem with a particular liquid I use in my cartotank. All my other liquids allow a cartomizer to last 1-3 weeks but my favorite liquid (of course) will start to go south after 2-3 days.
