Ive also hear that something like 15266 batteries work in some 14500 mods. The reo guys would know for sure. On a side note im getting a reo mini soon via trade, so let me know if you find out about any other 5v options.
And heres what gets me. Its 70 for a lavatube, and 159 for a provari. So if you replaced the lavatube and the end of the year (because of the year warranty expiring in this hypothetical situation) then you would have spent 140 dollars total, compared to the provari at 159 with a two year...
Did you mean the 90 some odd dollars for the up Lavatube? Not to mention the wait time for new batteries if you ordered the fake ones (I know my time isn't worth zero dollars).

I havent had any problems with super glue near the batteries in any of my mods, but I cant say for sure its 100 percent safe. Id say as long as you let it dry all the way, it shouldnt cause any issues.
I actually haven't had any issue with my LR's for the most part. They may not hit at my high end (4.2) but they work well enough. Just weird about that 3.0 ohm atty. Also the plastic attached to the metal end cap is coming loose.
