If your looking at the Mako I highly recommend it. Works awesome, bottom button locks to protect against accidental firing in your pocket, a drip well, and solid construction make it a great mod.
I just got a sample of totally wickeds pilbox, and its actually a pretty authentic tobacco. Smoky and light, it reminded me of what my grandfather smoked. Might be worth a look.
I have had 3 MK2s and 1 Mk1 and a DSE905 and the DSE is a nightmare. And its circuit board is so inefficiant it actually puts out about .5 less voltage then it should. The screwdriver is a far better PV. I like the MK2 for the fact that it uses 18350 batteries and there cheap if you get one used...

You are playing russian roulette whenever you buy trust or ultra fire batteries. AW may seem more expensive, but if you count all the DOA or wierd sized batteries you get from fire companies, then its about the same cost.
