    It charges my 2250 panny imr's in 35-40 min (on 1000ma). just remember to set on lowest charge rate for small bats. If you ever get a 26650/26500 or larger 18650's, you are set!

    The SP2 is better, IMHO. It uses alum spacers that cost more, but it's really designed for bigger bats

    Well, any bat from 14500 to 26650 I've tried works. There is a button on top (middle) that lets you choose charge rate. You need a spacer for the shorter bats. It's alum - $2.35 each, but you need spacers for 16340/18350 on most good chargers anyway, and they are small mah types - faster not...

    Yep, then if you want to charge in your car/truck, you have to buy the adapter. The Xtar SP2 comes with the adapter & does the same things & lets you choose your recharge rate by bat type (except the lights) - for less.

    PWM charging, a little comp that monitors heat/charge in real time, auto cut-off (so if you try to put an already charged bat in, wont charge it.). It also has a bunch of cool lights

    Actually, it is a pretty good one, except for the 26 mm bats (I have that charger too, poor man's Pila :laugh:) The SP2 is better than the Pila (IMHO) - does the same things, but faster (hush again Kami), read the specs Xtar SP2

    Yes it will, tho slow charge (hush, Kami) and it isnt wide enough to do 2 without some work (like a rubber band around both bats & charger to keep both contacts)

    Kami, David said the Pila can do it, but was a PITA & was intermittent. I'd suggest one to be sure. Hate to have this with no battery. They are only $10, cheap investment :laugh:
