OP, have you checked out the supersoaker build? I haven't yet tried dual microcoils but dual supersoakers are a decent build for me because I'm still a beginner but I get great vapes from the SS build.
The two or more juices that you mix are solutions that are for all practical purposes identical except for nicotine concentration, flavoring, and % PG. These are all safe and there is no chemical reactions going on that may change the solution, so it is indeed safe to mix different e-liquids.

Kanger EVOD BCC's worked for me and I would recommend them for the intro vaper wanting to kick cigs. The replaceable coils are easy to find on the net and they are good for the budget vaper. 24 mg/ml e-liquid did the trick for me.
