    Auto batteries will go off in loud places, or used to anyway, I don't know about the newer models. I had an M401 back in 2009, while at an underground metal show it vented on me. lucky for me it was in a protective case, although it did burn through, it did not cause a fire.

    Sounds like a wicking problem, this is when the little tube that leads to the atomizer is not feeding liquid. you can find youtube videos on how to fix this.
