    That is a cool vid... and IMO that 3 minutes is about all that's really needed to 'splain most vaping-things. I wick that way, and, like you, soak the end so it twists better, then afterwards I lightly wet the wick inside and out and gently poke it back into the hole with a toothpick or small...
